Table 2 represents the level of suicide ideation among respondents. The

table shows that the level of suicide ideation among respondents is very low on

Life is so bad I feel like giving up(1.60), I have told someone I want to kill myself

(1.48). The level of suicide ideation among respondents is low on I have been

thinking of ways to kill myself (1.51), I feel life isn’t just worth living (1.45), I feel

die (1.28), I have come close to taking my own life (1.23), I have made attempts

to kill myself (1.21), I believe my life would end in suicide (1.19).

Table 3 presents the result of significant difference in the level of suicide

ideation among the respondents when their profile is considered. The age data
22

shows a computed f-value of 0.992 and p-value of 0.373 which is greater than

0.05 hence, the posited null hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is no

significant difference in the level of suicide ideation among the respondents when

their profile is considered.

Based on program, the computed f-value is 3.663 and p-value is 0.004

which is less than 0.05 hence, the posited null hypothesis is rejected. This means

that there is significant difference in the level of suicide ideation among the

respondents when their profile is considered.

Based on annual income the computed f-value is 1.991 and p-value is

0.109 which is greater than 0.05 hence, the posited null hypothesis is accepted.

This means that there is no significant difference in the level of suicide ideation

among the respondents when their profile is considered.

Based on year level the computed f-value is 0.17 and p-value is 0.838

which is greater than 0.05 hence, the posited null hypothesis is accepted. This

means that there is no significant difference in the level of suicide ideation among

the respondents when their profile is considered.

Based on gender the computed t-value is 1.74 and p-value is 0.083 which

is greater than 0.05 hence, the posited null hypothesis is accepted. This means

that there is no significant difference in the level of suicide ideation among the

respondents when their profile is considered.
