UN VIAJE DE VERANO A IRLANDA

Algunos decidieron ir a Dublín el fin de semana pasado. Salimos de Derry a las 06:45 am. En
autobús y llegamos a Dublín a las 11:00 am. Fuimos a una cama y desayuno que habíamos
buscado antes. Era un hotel barato.

Queríamos aprovechar nuestro tiempo allí, así que inmediatamente decidimos ir a dar un
paseo por Trinity College donde se ubica la universidad. Después, fuimos a visitar el castillo de
Dublín y la catedral de San Patricio, donde tomamos muchas fotografías.

En la tarde visitamos el famoso Temple Bar y tuvimos la oportunidad de escuchar música en

vivo en las calles. También vimos algunos pequeños mercados, ropa y varios recuerdos.

Regresamos al hotel y, después de descansar, salimos para conocer la vida nocturna de Dublín.
tuvimos algunos problemas para ingresar a algunos pubs debido a varias razones: algunos pubs
estaban llenos de gente, no permitían entrenadores, etc., etc.

Sin embargo, creemos que las principales razones fue que éramos españoles. Nos dijeron que
ir a Dublín podría ser peligroso, pero no tuvimos ningún problema al respecto.

Como estábamos cansados y no podíamos entrar en algunos pubs, nos acostamos temprano.
Al día siguiente, después de almorzar en el hotel, algunos de nosotros fuimos a la antigua
destilería Jameson, donde se nos informó sobre el proceso de destilación del whisky y podría
intentarlo. Finalmente, tomamos el autobús a las 6:00 pm y llegamos a Derry a las 10:00. En
general, todos disfrutaron el viaje.

A SUMMER TRIP TO IRELAND

Some of decided to go to Dublin last weekend. we left Derry at 06:45 am. By bus and we
arrived in Dublin at 11:00 am. we went to a bed & breakfast which we had looked for
previusly. it was a cheap hotel.

we wanted to take advantage of our time there, so immediatly we decided to go for a walk
around trinity college where the university is placed. afterwards, we went to visit Dublin castle
and St. Patrick's Cathedral where we took a lot of photographs

in the afternon we visit de famous Temple Bar and we had the opportunity to listen to live
music in streets. we also saw some little markets, clothes and several souvenirs.

we returned to the hotel, and after having rested we went out to get to know the Dublin night
life. we had some problems getting into some pubs because of a numbers of reasons: some
pubs were packed with people, they did not allow trainers and so on and so forth.

however, we thinks that the main reasons was that we were spanish. we were told that going
to Dublin might be dangerous, but we had not any problem regarding this.

Since we were tired and we could not get into some pubs, we went to bed early .the following
day, after having lunch in the hotel, some of us went to old Jameson Distillery where we were
told about the process of distilling whiskey and we could try it. Finally, we took the bus at 6:00
pm and we arrrived in Derry at 10:00. In general, everybody enjoyed the trip.
