 Responsibilities as Field Engineer
• Responsible of swap activities of Huawei Equipment into Nokia FMR Equipment which
includes LTE-2100Mhz/1800Mhz/850Mhz/700Mhz, UMTS-2100Mhz/900Mhz and GSM-
1800/900. Total of 8 Bands in 3 Technologies.
• Subcontractor management during Telecom equipment installation, power tapping,
integration, on-airing and functionality testing.
• Handles closing of cluster optimization requirements not limited to swap sector rectification,
alarms clearing, antenna azimuth and tilting, remote electrical tilting configurations.
• Ensures that Implementation standards and thresholds being followed and all testing
results passed (VSWR, RTWP, RSSI, BASEBAND POWER, TX/RX POWER), including
Functionality Test Results.
• Hardware and Software acceptance testing with maintenance engineers from the client.
• Responsible of Technical Site Survey and TSSR for SWAP ACTIVITIES from Huawei BTS to
Nokia FMR.
• Supervision/On-Hands of FMR Installation, Commissioning, Integration, On-airing and
Functionality testing.
• Ensures that installation standards are being followed during implementation.
• Ensures the completeness and correctness of tools, Materials and Health and Safety of all
the involved workers. Including Site Management.
• Make sure that all BTS configurations and upgrades in GSM, UMTS and LTE are met and
hardware requirements are correct.

spent on sites which are to move outside the planned budget and ensure the change

• Weekly meeting with the subcontractors. To align progress, commitments and resolve
issues.
• Create forecast based on the team resource and materials availability.
• Ensure that the team has all Detailed Design Drawings before implementation.

• All PAT documents are complete and issue certificate of completion.

verification for new Greenfield and Rooftop sites.
