OBJECTIVE OF THE ACTIVITY

To have on hand experience of performing data analysis by using SPSS software and its
interpretation

LEARNING OUTCOME
After attempting this assignment students will be able to
 Run the descriptive statistics on SPSS
 Run the inferential statistics (correlation) on SPSS and interpret its result.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
 Install SPSS software into your computer system, preferably not older than 20th
version.
 You may download the SPSS trial version from the following link by providing
required information.

 Find SPSS file named “SPSS File for Assignment Spring 2019” given in
assignment WinRaR Archive folder and also available in the “Downloads” section
of VULMS.
 Read and comprehend assignment requirements regarding data analysis.
 Perform the required statistical tests on the given data and write the answers and
interpretation in the given tables.
 All the answers must be written in prescribed format, given with each requirement.

PREMISE:
Saad is the MS scholar who is working on his research work titled “Impact of social
capital on knowledge transfer of knowledge workers in telecom sector of Pakistan”. His
work is primarily based on SECI (Socialization, Externalization, Combination, and
Internalization) theory of knowledge creation. He used 5-point likert scale (where 1
signifies strongly disagree, 2 denotes disagree, 3 signifies Neutral, 4 represents agree and
5 symbolizes strongly agree). His SPSS file (SPSS File for Assignment Spring 2019) is
available in the “Downloads” section of VULMS. Being research student, you are
required to assist Saad in answering following questions:
