It was on Tuesday, November 1st, 2016, Mayor Becky that morning, setting up headquarters at Farm
Erickson (at left, with Sarah Swanson next to her) Equipment Sales. Along with a school presentation
proclaimed the day as Eva Mozes Kor Day. Rocky that day, Eva would also address the public later that
Erickson (at right) featured her on Voices of Montana evening to a packed Glagow High School Gymnasium.

‘Living exhibit from Auschwitz’ dies at age 85

If you have yet to hear, the world
lost a remarkable woman with the
passing of Eva Kor this past 4th of July.
Eva was a Holocaust survivor who
brought her personal story to Montana,
and brought many Montanans —
including several from Glasgow —
back to Auschwitz where she led
personal tours of the concentration
camp that was home to her torturer,
the Nazi Doctor Josef Mengele (known
as the “Angel of Death”). Eva was one of
the “Mengele Twins”.
Earlier this week, Montana
sportscaster Rocky Erickson and
Billings West High teacher Rob
Stanton, were on Montana Talks to
remember the life and legacy of Eva
Kor. You can hear it on the Montana
Talks website, as well as some audio
from four Billings West grads. They
had just been with Holocaust survivor
the week before her death, getting
a personal tour of the Auschwitz
concentration camp. You wouldn’t
have known the 4’9” Eva Kor was in
her final days.
