• Type of damage to built heritage in the city of L’Aquila;

• Emergency management: introduction to the project “Quick realization of long term
houses with high level quality, technological innovation through self efficiency in energy
production and with seismic protection all around buildings “

Day 4 – C.a.s.e. project’s buildings tour

• Introduction to architectural and functional C.a.s.e. elements

• L’Aquila and C.a.s.e. buildings: visit areas and urban aspects choose

Day 5 – Innovative and experimental project’s tasks

• Project: “Criteria and methods”

• Focus on anti-seismical measures : isolation devices; (system of the plates)

Day 4 – Earthquakes, archaeology in Subequana Valley and Sulmona

• Archaelogical investigations and the strongest earthquakes in the Subequana Valley

and Sulmona city area
• Guided tour to the archaeological area of Castel di Ieri and Sulmona (Ercole Curino
sanctuary)

Day 5 – The earthquake in L’Aquila

• Introducing L'Aquila city and the geological evidence of its earthquake in 2009
