THE Las Piflas CitY government led
by Mayor Imelda Aguilar has Paid
tdbute to Ms. Nifra Ruth Vega, who
was recently clowned as Miss Mag-
netico Philippines World 2019.
During the regular flag raising
ceremony at Las Pifras CitY Hall on
Monday, Mayor Aguilar PersonallY
awarded Vega with a Certificate of
Recognition and P50,000 cash for
winning the prestigious Pageanl
Vega, a Grade 10 student of Univer-
sity ofPerpetual Help System Dalta Las
Pifias Campus, is the daughter offormer
Manila Police District beat reportel Vic
Yega of Manila Bulletin and sportswrit-
er Virgie Rodriguez Vega.
The 16-year-old beautY queen was
crowned as the first ever Miss Mag-
netico Philippines Wo,5ld {019 after
she stood out among 50 candidates
who joined the pageant held at the
Tanghalang Pasigueffo Theater in
Pasig City on July 6.
Vega also bagged 12 other sPecial
awards during the pageant-Best in
Ramp, Role Model of the Year, De-
signers Choice Award, Miss Conge-
niality, Darling of the Crowd, Best in
Long Gown, Best in Production Num-
ber, Most Creative Wear, PeoPle's
Choice Award, Magnetico Jeans Am-
bassadr€ss, Magnetico Ambassadress,
Coach B Ph Ambassadress, and Face
of Magnetico.
In a message, Aguilar thanked Vega
for being a good example to the youth
and for bringing honor to Las Pifras.

Cynthia Villar, Rep. Camile Villar
and city councilors also congratulated
and praised Vega.
For her part, the beauty queen
expressed her gratitute to her fam-
ily, friends, and all the PeoPle who
