Front brake disc: Checking the thickness
- Compare the values measured with the values
in the table below, according to the vehicle.

edge of the disc (2).

** Ventilated disc:

A ventilated disc has channels on the edge of the disc (2).

- Replace the disc if necessary.

Note:
When replacing discs,
it is essential to replace the brake pads.

- Replace the disc if necessary.

- Remove the cap (1) 9’’ 229.5
- Remove the nut (2)
1 inch = 25.4 mm
- Remove the brake drum (3)
Note:
When replacing a drum,
it is essential to replace the brake linings.

- Using a sliding calliper type tool, measure the


internal diameters of the brake drum according to 2
perpendicular axes (4) and (5).
