Job Detail
Job title: IT-Management Assistant

To support our offshore software development operations in Vietnam, we are looking

for a Management Assistant for our IT Department. Successful candidates will be
active in the scope and should possess the requirements as below.

Scope of Responsibilities:
• Supporting our Senior IT Staff in software development projects for
international customers. Further information about such projects could be
possibly discussed during interviews.
• Coordinating software development activities with our partner companies in
Hanoi and other places in Vietnam and help leading teams of external
software developers provided by these partners
• Working directly for Spectos Asia in the local office in Hanoi, Vietnam and join
occasional business trips to work directly with partners and customers in
Vietnam and ASEAN region
• Other assignments within the ability of the successful candidates when
required.

Job Description:
As IT management assistant, successful candidates will have to perform the following
tasks in close cooperation with our Senior IT Staff:
• Assist in the analysis of problems as defined by the consultants and expand
the definitions to be suitable to the programmer's requirements in close
cooperation with our Senior IT staff from Germany
• Assist in Software Project Management planning, provisioning and controlling
• Supporting all activities within the software development lifecycle like
requirements analysis, system design, testing of delivered system
components, documentation, deployment and technical support
• Communication and supervision of software development with external
partners on project or body leasing base.
• Occasionally directly assist with encoding, programming and documentation
• System administration and/or other general technical support on Client and
Server, if necessary or coordination of such activities with external partners

Requirements
• Good project management skills and experience in working on software
projects in senior positions
• Programming experience in either Java or PHP, SQL databases (preferably
MySQL), Web Application technologies
• Professional English command in reading, writing and speaking
• Familiar with office applications (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook,
MS Visio & Project are an advantage)
• Work both independently and as a good team worker
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, creative, self -motivated, result -
oriented
• Self- organizational and communicative skills (listening, discussing,
presenting)
Advantages:

• Prior experience in working with international partners from US or Europe
• Basic German skill (especially reading)
