FRANCHISE CONCEPT

Knowledge Avenues offers a complete business format franchise in Management, IT, Employable
Skills Training services. The unique franchise concept provides individuals with complete know
how to build and operate a successful ONE STOP TRAINING MALL. Knowledge Avenues offers its
franchisees:-

 Proven, well researched curriculum in Management, IT, Employable Skills
 Content for Career and Modular programs
 A unique Business program-Business Basic Workshop
 Training on the technology and the business process
 Continuing research and development

FRANCHISE SUPPORT

The Knowledge Avenues franchise support includes:-

Business Workshop (BW)

A 3 day orientation program will be held for training the franchisee and their key personnel. The
BBW aims at helping the franchisee understand the Training business and transferring the
knowledge ware gathered by the Franchisor

Train the Trainer & Sales / Marketing Training

Training will be imparted to faculties on an ongoing basis along with specially developed training
modules for sales / marketing professionals on admission prospecting. Training is imparted on a
need basis at Head Office / Regional Office throughout the year.

Manuals
Franchisee will be provided with ambience manual- which will help to construct the Knowledge
Avenues - Management, IT, Employable Skills Training services as per the standardized design
template and the standard operating procedures manual for conduct of the KA Hub.

Specification of training equipment

Knowledge Avenues will provide the required specifications for training ………………………….

Supply of Knowledge Avenues Start-up Kit

Franchisor will provide the KH with the basic startup material which includes KA display sheet
(Flex material), one set of course ware, basic stationary & some marketing material. KH will also
receive all the marketing & technical presentation, video films and artworks for all activities on
time to time basis.

Courseware
The courseware will be provided in the printed format at the actual printing cost. KA strives to
provide the best teaching / reference material to their customers and hence does not
retain any margins for profits to make it economically more profitable for franchisees.

On going support
The benefits of on going research and development will be transferred to the franchisee to keep
abreast of the curriculum / technology development

Marketing support
The franchisor will provide requisite marketing support to propagate the various programs at KH
through regional / national platforms. Sales & Marketing tools (brochures, leaflets, posters, audio
visual aids) as and when developed will be sent as per policy.

FINANCIAL DATA

To start a KH franchise, an estimated sum of INR 10,00,000/- to INR 20, 00,000/- will be
required. This sum will cover expenses for:

 Franchisee fees
 Marketing Collaterals of KA
 Courseware
 Working capital

However, this sum does include pre operating expenses such as rental and staff costs for @60
days.

TERMS OF FRANCHISE

 The initial agreement is for a tenure of three (3) years

 Option to renew for another term of two(2) years, under mutual agreement
 The franchisee fee varies between INR 3,00,000 to INR 6,00,000 for the
term of initial agreement of three (3) years as per KH Model.
 Royalty is charged @ 20% and is based on the gross fee collection
 Franchisee will be rewarded under Performance Bonus plan on yearly
basis based on target vs. achievement.
 Franchisee will be rewarded with free renewal of KH agreement for
next two (2) years on successful 100% achievement of targets for three
consecutive years (3 years from centre launch / KH agreement term).

SITE SPECIFICATIONS

To conduct a KH you will require

 A minimum of 1500 sq. feet carpet area with outdoor of about similar or
more area
 Good frontage
 Reasonable rentals
 Lease arrangement for a tenure of 3 yrs of agreement
 To be situated in a commercial/educational area.

 Tele-conference with franchise manager

 Personal meeting and discussions

 Sign MOU and remit franchisee fees

 Release of Interiors manual for design of Knowledge Hub(KH)
