The Unanswerable Questions

If God asked us these questions, would we be able to answer them?

1) Can perfect be made better?

2) Can we be freed from freedom?

3) Can Truth be made not Truth?

4) Can the path of righteousness be changed into a new path?

5) Can the Ways of God change into a different way?

6) Can forever, perpetual, and lasting throughout the generations to come turn into intermittent and
sporadic?

7) Can what defines sin be nullified?

8) Can what is light change into a different light?

9) Can what is life no longer be life?

10) If God is the Word can the Word (and thus God) change?

11) Can something we are to delight in become something we teach against?

12) Can walking as Jesus walked mean not walking as Jesus walked?

13) If Jesus is the Word made flesh, did He get on the cross to abolish Himself?

14) Can instructions for love one day be worthless instructions the next day?

15) Can what is stated to be made for us and to bless us no longer bless us?

You might ask, "Why would one even need to ask these questions?"

Do you believe the new and modern Christian doctrine of today?

1) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine teaches that God's law has been made better in the New
Covenant. (see question #1)

2) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine teaches that God's law is bondage and that Christ came to
set us free from His Law. (see question #2)

3) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine teaches that some things in God's Word are no longer True
(i.e. Leviticus 11 and 23). (see question #3)

4) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine teaches that what scripture defines as a path and
instructions in righteousness are no longer instructions in righteousness. (see question #4)
5) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine teaches that God changed His Way to a new Way. (see
question #5)

6) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine abolishes God's written commandments that are clearly
established to be forever in the context in which it was used. Select commandments become something that
are applicable before Christ, not applicable after Christ (now), and suddenly applicable again when Christ
returns (1000 year reign). (see question #6)

7) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine changes what scripture defines as sin and says it is no
longer sin. (see question #7)

8) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine changes what scripture says is a light to our path to
something that is no longer a light to our path. (see question #8)

9) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine takes commandments that were stated to be made for us
and to benefit us are now taken away and no longer for us. (see question #9)

10) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine changes God's Word when God says He is the Word. (see
question #10)

11) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine teaches against parts of God's Word that God's Word
says we are to delight in. (see question #11)

12) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine teaches that we should not walk exactly as Jesus walked.
(see question #12)

13) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine teaches that Christ (the living Word) abolished Himself
on the cross (abolished the Word). (see question #13)

14) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine teaches that commandments that are stated to be given to
us to love God and love others now suddenly does neither. (see question #14)

15) ...because new and modern Christian doctrine teaches that obedience to certain select commandments
now suddenly curses us instead of blesses us. (see question #15)

Contrary to new and modern (Roman) Christian doctrine, this is what God's Word says:

1. The Law blesses (obey) and curses (disobey).

(Deut 11:26-27)(Ps 112:1)(Ps 119:1-2)(Ps 128:1)(Prov 8:32)(Is 56:2)(Mat 5:6)(Mat 5:10)(Luke
11:28)(Jam 1:25)(1 Pe 3:14)(Rev 22:14)

2. The Law defines sin.

3. The Law is perfect.

(Ps 19:7)(Jam 1:25)

4. The Law is liberty.

(Ps 119:45)(Jam 1:25, 2:12)

5. The Law is the way.

6. The Law is the truth.

(Ps 119:142)(Mal 2:6)(Ro 2:20)(Gal 5:7)(Ps 43:2-4)(Jo 8:31-32)
7. The Law is life.
(Job 33:30)(Ps 36:9)(Prov 6:23)(Rev 22:14)

8. The Law is light.

John 1:7)

9. The Law is Jesus, the Word made flesh.

(PERFECT-LIBERTY-WAY-TRUTH-LIFE-LIGHT).
(Ps 27:1)(Jo 1:1-14)(Jo 14:5-11)(1 Jo 1:7)

10. The Law is also for the Gentiles (foreigner/alien) who are grafted in.
(Ex 12:19) (Ex 12:38) (Ex 12:49) (Lev 19:34) (Lev 24:22) (Num 9:14) (Num 15:15-16) (Num 15:29) (ie:
Ruth) (Is 42:6) (Is 60:3) (Mat 5:14) (Eph 2:10-13) (Ac 13:47) (Ro 11:16-27) (Jer31:31-34) (Ez 37) (1 Jo
2:10) (1 Jo 1:7)

11. The Law is God’s instructions on how to love God, how to love others, and how to not love yourself.
(Ex 20:6)(Deut 5:10)(Deut 7:10)(Deut 11:13)(Deut 11:22)(Deut 30:16)(Deut 6:5)(Lev 19:18)(Neh
1:5)(Dan 9:4)(Mat 22:35-37)(Matthew 10:39)(Mat 16:25)(Jo 14:15)(Jo 14:21)(Ro 13:9)(1 Jo 5:2-3)(2 Jo
1:6)

Remember:

ALL (not some) scripture is given by inspiration of God.

ALL (not some) scripture is profitable for doctrine.

ALL (not some) scripture is for rebuking and correction

ALL (not some) scripture is for INSTRUCTION IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, forinstruction in righteousness:

2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

And...

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not

Thus the Word can not change unless God changes.

Pro 28:9 "He who turns away his ear from hearing the Law, Even his prayer is an abomination."

We can not say that Paul taught against God’s law either, unless we are comfortable making the "error of
the lawless" in interpreting Paul's letters (2 Peter 3:14-17).

More "UNANSWERABLE" Questions

1) Matthew 5:17-19 clearly teaches that no commandments are to pass away at least until Heaven and Earth
pass and all of the Law and Prophets are fulfilled. In addition, believers that teach others that
commandments have passed away (thus teaching others to sin as sin is defined as transgressing the law)
will be least in the kingdom of Heaven. But those who strive to keep all of God's law and teach others to do
the same will be great in the Kingdom. What do His words teach you here and how can we be comfortable
teaching that some commandments have been abolished?

2) When Jesus commanded us to observe and do everything out of Moses seat (Matthew 23:1-3), what does
that mean to you and why? What was the Moses' seat and what was taught out of it?

3) When Paul stated several times that he believes, practices, and teaches God's law (as written by
Moses)(Ac 21:20-26;24:13-14;25:8) and also that there is no difference between the Jew and Geek in
Christ (1 Cor 12:12-14;Gal 3:27-29;Col 3:10-12), how can we be comfortable using Paul's letters to teach
that we are not to observe all of God's law? How can Paul be teaching God's law (as written by Moses) and
teaching against God's law (as written by Moses) at the same time? Wouldn't all those instances Paul was
accused of not practicing and teaching the Law of Moses actually be true accusations instead of false
accusations like Paul asserted and demonstrated? Who is right in these accusations, Paul or mainstream
Christianity?

4) When scripture states in the NT we are to keep God's commandments in our love back to Him (1 Jn 5:3)
as a response to His grace or love for us (1 Jn 4:19), how can we conclude that we are to keep only some of
God's commandments? Are commandments in Leviticus 23 or Leviticus 11 God’s commandments or not?

5) If God is His Word and has been since the beginning (Jn 1:1-2) and we are stating for example that
Leviticus 23 has changed and no longer exists, then how can we be comfortable with that when God says
He (the Word) does not change (Mal. 3:6)?

6) If ALL scripture is True and are to be used as instructions in righteousness and as a standard in which we
correct and rebuke (2 Tim. 3:16-17) can we still teach that Leviticus 23 is no longer True and is no longer
instructions in righteousness?

Is it that Leviticus 23 (for example) IS True or WAS True? How would you answer that and why? And if it
is that it WAS True, why is Leviticus 23 suddenly True and practiced again when Jesus returns (ie: Zech
14)? Why the supposed 2,000+/- year pause in these commandments in particular?

7) If the response to all or any of the above is that Christianity is a "new group" or "new people" or "new
body" and thus has "new rules" as opposed to the law given to Israel then how do we answer this? Romans
11 teaches that we are grafted into Israel (the "cultivated olive" tree as being "their tree") and taken away
from the wild olive tree (nations/Gentiles). Eph. 2 teaches the same in the sense that it declares that we
were once Gentiles and are now made to be citizens of the commonwealth of Israel in our faith. Countless
examples in scripture demonstrate that Israel has always allowed the foreigner/alien to be grafted in and
become Israel (Egyptians coming out of Egypt with Israel, Ruth the Moabite, etc.) Jer. 31:31-32 declares
that the New Covenant is made for only the House of Judah (Jews)(2 tribes) and the House of Israel
(divorced 10 tribes scattered into the nations as Gentiles - Jer. 3:8-10). There is no mention of a new group
being made part of the New Covenant but only the 12 tribes of Israel (all of Israel). So the question is this,
how can Christianity be supposedly a new group (to avoid the law given to Israel) and yet still be Israel at
the same time? How can we be part of something and not part of it at the same time?

The common response to the questions above often yields the following responses:

1) "Here, read this +400 page book" (Meaning I don't have the answer but I will pretend someone else
does)

2) "But look at this, or look at that..." (I will distract you with confusing verses and not answer these
impossible questions)

One must ask why these are the common responses...

Ask yourself the hard questions. Ask others. Ask the Word. Test your faith. Challenge yourself. Test
everything.
