WORK EXPERIENCE.
INTERNATIONAL:
▪ FINALIST Award, CLIO Awards for MILO “Gymnast” [1989].
NOTE: Held once every four years, CLIO Awards is the most prestigious
international awards-giving body in the world of Advertising. It is the equivalent
of the OSCAR Awards (or The Academy Awards).
NATIONAL:
1. NIDO “You’re #1” [1983]
- Award of Excellence, Ad Congress of the Philippines.
- Jingle of the Month, Creative Guild of the Philippines.
- Winner, Catholic Mass Media Awards.
- Regarded as the longest running Jingle in the history of Philippine advertising.
▪ Conceptualized, initiated, gave directions and trained my team on the creative process
and copy writing.
▪ Made creative presentations to our clients and developed each team member to do the
same.
▪ Coordinated and worked harmoniously with several Account Service groups.
▪ Created a monitoring system for weekly status report, which was later adopted by
other creative groups.
▪ Assisted our President, Mr. Greg Macabenta, in formulating a multi-media campaign
for the 1981 Station ID for Channel 13, and in several other Special Projects.
▪ National Delegate (Philippines) for SUMMIT Formula Sdn. Bhd., the Overseas
Master Distributor of ―Black Stallion‖ Lubricants.
▪ Jalipa Crystalline Waterproofing, Inc. Created and established its Sales &
Marketing Plan, tools and policies for the exclusive Philippine distributor of
KRYTON – world leader in concrete waterproofing.
▪ DEGREY Feeds/Mr. Sonny De Guzman: Degrey ―Super Feeds‖ Complete
Advertising & Marketing Campaign (Bicol Region). [1998]
▪ Created the “Power Player’s Plan”, a marketing system meant to accelerate network
growth in conjunction with the Issho-Genki business plan. It became a highly
successful marketing plan during its implementation. [1996]
▪ International Books & Magazine, ―JANET BASCO‖ Ad Campaign Launch (Naga
City). [1980]
[ AIG PRIVATE BANK (Hong Kong Office / Zurich, Switzerland) - 1999 – 2004 ]
▪ Provided Investment Consultancy and booking services for my clients.
▪ Created guidelines & procedures to facilitate fund transfers & foreign currency
exchanges for foreign and domestic clients.
▪ Organized investment forums & presentations for Mr. Allen Z.Y. Chan (SVP, AIG
Private Bank – Hong Kong)
▪ Made representations to institutional clients.
▪ Did due diligence prior to booking.
STRATEGIC PLANNER
▪ Created and organized a strategic alliance between presidential bet Bro. Eddie
Villanueva and Sultan Esmail D. Kiram II, Sultan of Sulu, and rallied the entire
Sultanate behind Bro. Eddie.
▪ Created, organized and successfully implemented Phase I of “OPLAN ISHMAEL”,
a strategic plan for the unification of Christians and Muslims within the Sultanate of
Sulu, held at Plaza Pershing, Zamboanga City in 2004.
▪ Created “BOTO KO, IGALANG MO”, a strategic Signature Crusade against
massive fraud and disfranchisement of voters here and overseas.
(NOTE: Approved by Bro Eddie, but was not implemented.)
