WELCOME TO ABU DHABI
Year-round sunshine, pristine beaches, spectacular sand dunes
and pulsating cosmopolitan lifestyle await every guest in Abu

Abu Dhabi is the largest of the seven emirates that make up
the United Arab Emirates. Abu Dhabi, the city, is also the federal
capital. It lies on a T-shaped island jutting into the Arabian Gulf
from the central western coast. The latest census in 2005 indicates
a population of 1.29 Million. About 80% of the population is
expatriate - foreigners from other Arab countries, the Indian sub-
continent, Britain, Europe, US, Canada, Australia and many more.
Both onshore and offshore, Abu Dhabi has 10% of the world’s
known oil reserves and 4% of the natural gas reserves. Abu
Dhabi has 90% of the UAE. oil reserves which, at current rates of
production, are expected to last for another 100 years. Abu Dhabi
is pursuing alternative commerce and business to diversify the
economy. Plans are in place to increase tourism to the emirate.
The exquisite Emirates Palace Hotel & Conference Center opened

01 TRACK EXPERIENCE

Martin and the correct racing line before heading out onto the circuit
for your first session with a qualified instructor. Back in the pits you
and your instructor will discuss your performance and decide how to
improve your lap times before heading out on to the circuit for a second
session and chance to practice everything you have learned.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is now open to the public and offers a truly

03 GRAND MOSQUE
The majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is probably the most
imposing religious and national landmark in Abu Dhabi to date. It is
also arguably one of the most important architectural treasures of
contemporary UAE society - and one of the most beautiful in the world
- initiated no less by the late president HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al
Nahyan, who is fondly thought of as the father of the UAE.
First considerations to build the Mosque began in the late 1980s
and much thought was given to its location and its design over the
next decade. The initial architectural design was agreed upon and the
inaugural cornerstone laid in the late 1990s. The Sheikh Zayed Grand
Mosque, popularly called the Grand Mosque by local residents, is seen
as a construction to ‘unite the world’, using artisans and materials from
countries such as Italy, Germany, Morocco, India, Turkey, Iran, China,
Greece and the UAE. More than 3,000 workers and 38 renowned
contracting companies took part in the construction of the Mosque. For
