country’s largest export earners. In the Entertainment Industry

IV. DESCRIPTION OF VENTURE

A. Products

The studio is limited to selected printed output sizes for the


graphics and photography services. The sizes may vary from
small-sized photos and prints to medium sized outdoor tarpaulins
only. The specialists however can create wide variety of designs
but the studio will only be limited to the said printing size. For
the clients’ benefit, we can provide soft copies of the designs
we’ve created and they will be responsible for its large
productions.

For the video services, the studio is limited to visual effects and
video editing only. We can apply graphic elements to the raw
videos along with the sequential editing but we will not be
handling its production (video shots). We do not do video
coverage or any outdoor video shoots. The studio will only work
on the design and creative aspects but not the whole video
production in the studio. The specialists can provide the soft
copies of the final edited outputs for the clients’ benefit or we
will provide DVD authored outputs when the whole video is
already finished.

B. Services

The studio services are limited to graphics design, video


editing/effects, digital studio photography and output printing
only. We do not handle web development, animation and non-
related multimedia.

The specialists however are not required to work outside the


studio. They will only render the products on their own or with
the other co-specialists. For personal client services, meetings
must be held with the specialists in order to discuss the
concepts. The outputs and prices will be provided depending on
the negotiations made.
C. Size of Business

The studio will only be a small-scaled type of business, since it is


privately owned and operated, with a small number of
employees and relatively low volume of sales. This business will
start with the raised capital money from the contributors. It will
be open for work on the give time schedule per week.

The small scale business would be an advantage to the


members, since it will be easier to handle because of the small
number of employees. The studio can be easily promoted online
(internet marketing) because it can serve specialized niche. Also
the small business can easily adapt to changes because it can
respond to the clients easily. The studio can create strong
intimate relationships with their clients and customers will result
to grater accountability.

D. Office equipment and personnel

The office equipment will be mostly owned by the members,


mainly the computers for editing. The other equipments such as
printers (small and large), photography facilities (lights,
reflectors, etc.), will be bought from the studio budget. New
computers may also depend on the flow of customers and
clients.

The personnel of the studio will be the contributors themselves.


Since the business is jus starting, the members will only focus on
their own skills and abilities in completing the tasks. The studio
will be open for selected freelancers to work with the specialists.
The director may or may not hire other workers depending on
the current business status.

Product Strategy

Instead of products, the group, as a studio will be offering Services as a


product. The studios offered services are the:

Video

The studio will accept Video Comissions that are only Motion Graphics and
Special Effects and Editing related. The studio itself is not to be confused for
a production house which also handles video coverage of events. Although
we can perform these kinds of services, we would only accept such services
given the proper high-end equipment.

Graphics
There are a wide range of graphical services that the studio can offer. Be it
for an occasion, promotion, event, etc.

For graphics, the studio can offer:

the studio will be utilizing its own studio set-up for producing photographs.

For printing service, the studio would have a medium sized printer capable of

For pricing, the whole project must be overseen and partially completed
before making any decisions for pricing. But for discounts the first few weeks
of the project opening would have the services at 20% off for an easy and
quick feel of how our studio Chrono Teknika works.

Promotion Strategy
The key promotion of the Chrono Teknika Studios will mainly be on the
studio website, internet, print ads and in-store-advertising. Also, through
quality work, the studio may also be referred by satisfied customers to other
people by recommending it to those who are in need of the multimedia
services the studio has to offer. Another is by making business cards
available to every employee so that they may give a means of contacting
interested people in need of the services of the studio.

Internet promotion

A lot of people are using the internet which makes a website very advisable
in promoting the studio. The website will be providing the visitors
information about what the studio has to offer them and the price that would
take them to avail the services. It also contains some contact information so
that potential clients will be able to reach the studio. It will also display the
studio demo reel giving the viewers an overview on what services the studio
is capable of.

In-store Advertising

These commercials will be present inside the studio premises showing and
providing information, explaining each of the services Chrono Teknika offers.
It is composed of posters, album of sample works and video presentation
displaying the power of the studio.

Print Ads

The studio will also be promoting through printed media such as posters,
calling cards and other small scale tarpaulins. These printed ads are sure to
capture the attention of anyone passing through and is placed in a strategic
place making sure that every passing people will take a glance.

Word of mouth

Through quality works, satisfied patrons will be recommending the studio to


their friends and companions creating and making the network of the studio
bigger and broader. The more customers the studio satisfies, the bigger the
network becomes.

Personal Selling

Personal meetings with the client will be important in building relationships


and gathering information. Giving impressive concepts and giving out good
examples of the output that the client desires will be a good way of
establishing relationships with the client.
The strategies mentioned above are the best course of tactics for the type of
business Chrono Teknika is.

Place

As a starting business, the Chrono Teknika will only have one branch at
the moment. To ensure the business is noticed since it is still in the infancy
stage of the PLC, its first branch will be placed in an efficient and effective
location. A strategic location to put up the branch would be in commercial
areas where a lot of people and business men pass. Getting the attention of
business men will be really advantageous for the business. As the business
grows and is continuing to get stronger, several branches of Chrono Teknika
studio will be opened in other parts of the country which will also be located
in strategic areas. Places with high concentration of students will also be a
choice since students are also potentials clients in the services the studio is
offering.

Chrono Teknika is a corporation which is build under the supervision of


the law, shareholders who owns the company elect a board director to
oversee the major policies and decision.

We chose to have a corporation as a form of ownership because a


corporation has a life of its own and when some unexpected
circumstances come, it will not affect the corporation.

The one who manages the company the one who is


in charge for organizing works, responsibilities will
typically include traffic management, by ensuring all
briefs are dispatched in the studio according to a
designer’s skills and strengths and ensure all work is
delivered promptly and to deadline to the relevant
people. A design studio manager should have
excellent organizational and communication skills,
and motivate their team by showing good leadership.
