Student Progress Report 
 

At the beginning, we at Gift a future made a clear commitment to ourselves that for 
EDUCATION to change a family’s destiny, two things must happen 

1. The child must complete his or her education. 
2. The child must have complete education. 

We initiated our efforts to achieve the above by partnering with schools. This gave us 
an opportunity to work closely with the school and the students to achieve the above 
goals. 

We currently work with 132 schools and have identified 780 students for support. The 
particulars of 650 of these students have been verified and uploaded on the portal for 
you to support. The details of the balance 130 identified students will be uploaded for 
support once we complete the verification process.  

The quarterly performance of the identified students has been tracked and the 
relevant details have been uploaded in the portal for your viewing. 

Each child is unique and the academic performance of every child varies based on 
various factors. The children who have been identified for fee support come from 
backgrounds where they have limitations in terms of support and infrastructure. 
Additionally about 50% of these children hail from single parent families. 
Amongst the identified children, we see a range of performances ranging from 
distinction levels to average and below average performances.  

Highlights 

• 75% of the students have passed their quarterly exams. 

• 25% of the students have scored 75% and above in their quarterly exams.

 25% of students have failed. Of these, 41% have failed in 1 subject & 28% in 2 subjects. 

We are working closely with the schools to address the above points and also plan to 
work closely with the students and their parents to impress upon them the importance 
of education and how it can change their destiny. 

Additionally we are working with the high school and higher secondary students 
specifically through our Student Interaction Programs which work towards 
understanding the needs of these students and help shape their future.
