Fourth Sunday of Advent
Without the angel’s intervention, a confused and hurt Joseph was planning to quietly divorce Mary.
Those people who come into our lives at times of confusion and help us find our way are truly angels to
us, like Joseph, we need to listen to them, frequently those angels are in our own homes.

There were 360 Holy Hour adorers that spent time before our Lord this past week. Why is exposing the
Blessed Sacrament necessary? The difference between spending time with Jesus in the Blessed
Sacrament exposed in the monstrance, rather than in the tabernacle, is the same as the difference
between conversing with a friend face-to-face instead of having a closed door between you. The
scheduled adorers are guardians of the Blessed Sacrament so there presence is necessary. Yet, the most
compelling reason for exposition is because the Holy Spirit asks for it. Jesus made this very clear:
“Indeed this is the will of My Heavenly Father, that everyone who looks upon the Son and believes in
Him, shall have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day” (John 6:40)
