The purpose of this experiment was to determine if common household liquids Box at right
like distilled water, apple juice, orange juice, and 1% milk could be used as an
alternative fuel source; since there is a lot of pollution and fossil fuels are Behavioral and
nonrenewable. So eventually we will need an alternative fuel source. Social Science
Biochemistry
The procedures done in this experiment was first purchase, and then assemble
the fuel cell car. Then add 48 millimeters of distilled water, apple juice, orange juice, Botany

and 1% milk to the gas tank in the fuel cell car. Then put the solar panel to charge Chemistry
under a 75 watt desk lamp and wait for it to charge. Then connect the motor to the Computers
fuel cell and measure the distance the fuel cell car traveled. Earth and
Planetary
In the experiment milk proved to be most efficient, traveling distances of 52.03 Science
meters and 92.7 meters. Apple juice and water proved to be the least efficient with Engineering ✘
apple juice traveling 34.75 in the first trail and water traveling 34.7 meters in the Environmental
second trial. Orange juice traveled a distance of 40.32 meters in the first trial and Sciences
63.7 meters in the second trial. Mathematics
In conclusion milk was the most efficient. Apple juice and distilled water were Medicine and
least efficient traveling the least distance. This experiment helps with the world Health

because later fossil fuels will be gone and people can use apple juice, distilled Microbiology
water, orange juice, and 1% milk as an alternative source of fuel. Physics and
