Event Conditions
 Inter B school event which progresses in 3 stages
 Participation in teams with a maximum of two members is allowed
 Each team may consist of students from same institute/campus only. No inter-institute
teams may apply. However, there are no restrictions on team composition within the
institute
 All entries and materials submitted by the Participants to IGFAB IIML/IIMA Agribusiness
Club in connection with the Contest (collectively, "entry materials"), along with all copyright
and other proprietary rights associated therewith, shall become the property of Coromandel
upon submission and shall not be returned to any Participant. Without limiting the
generality of the foregoing, the Participants acknowledge that Coromandel will own all
rights to use, modify, reproduce and otherwise commercially and non-commercially exploit
the entry materials, in any manner
 IGFAB IIML/IIMA Agribusiness Club reserves the right to suspend, postpone, cease,
terminate or otherwise modify the Contest at any time, without assigning any reason, at its
sole option and discretion and IGFAB IIML/IIMA Agribusiness Club shall have no liability,
whatsoever, in any such event
 Evaluation of the entry material will be done by a panel of judges comprising Coromandel &
IGFAB IIML/IIMA Agribusiness Club representatives. Evaluation of the entry materials will
be based, among other things, on the feasibility and merit of the entries with respect to the
case. The evaluations are confidential and at the discretion of the panel of judges. All
decisions are final and binding and may not be contested
 The decision of IGFAB IIML/IIMA Agribusiness Club on any disputes arising out of or relating
to the contest shall be final and binding on the campuses/institutes and participants and no
correspondence will be entertained in this regard
 Coromandel looks forward to teams carrying out primary research in catchments where its
stores are located
 Travelling expenses of the participants (for primary research and final presentation) from
their respective campus to the venue shall be reimbursed by IGFAB IIML/IIMA Agribusiness
Club, only if prior approval is taken by the participants from IGFAB IIML/IIMA Agribusiness
Club
 Only one issue has to be chosen and worked upon by the team out of the listed five topics
 Winner will be awarded with Prize money worth Rs 15000 and PPI offer from Coromandel
and 1st runner-up will get Prize money worth Rs7000 and PPI offer from Coromandel
 Deadline for registration and proposal submission is 4th January 2011, 23:59:59 hrs
 All submissions are to be done at igfab@iiml.ac.in
 The final presentations will be held at IIM Lucknow campus

Event Rules
ROUND 1: PROPOSAL/PLAN OF ACTION (Submission before 4th January, 2011)
 Select one of the topics given
 Briefly describe the primary and secondary research plans. Please specify clearly the
methodology adopted, especially for the primary research, Reasons for choosing the
topic & key assumptions made, Hypothesis/line of action that the team chooses to
take
 Timelines (Specify the time chosen for primary research)
 Team profile
 Proposal should not be more than 2 pages of MS word and 5 slides of MS Power Point
(Inclusive of cover page/slide and appendix)
 File names for submission should have following format
o Slides- <<TEAM NAME>>_<<Issue Number >>.ppt(x)
o Document - <<TEAM NAME>>_<<Issue Number>>.doc(x)
ROUND 2: FINAL REPORT (Submission before 20th January, 2011)
 Qualifying teams would have to work on the same topic they submitted for round one
 Detailed report for the chosen topic have to be submitted
 Team would have to present their entries in word doc format
o Document – 1.15 spacing, Times New Roman, 11 Pt font not exceeding 25 pages for
the details
 Teams would have to abide by the deadlines – no extension would be provided
 Report must contain the findings of the primary research
 File names for submission should have following format
o <<TEAM NAME>>_<<Issue Number>>.doc(x)

ROUND 3: FINAL POWER POINT PRESENTATION (On 31st January, 2011)


 Qualifying teams will be presenting at IIM Lucknow campus

Please note that with regard to the event details, rules, schedule and results, the decisions taken
by IGFAB/IIMA Agribusiness Club will be final.
