One Post of Sr. Instructor has fallen vacant at Postal Training Centre,
Mysore. Director, PTC, Mysore invites application from volunteers to work as
Instructors at PTC, Mysore . It is requested to circulate this notice to all eligible
officers/ officials in your Circle/ Region/ Centre .

The incumbent of the post is required to undertake fulltime teaching of the

subjects related to Postal Operations ,conduct practical oriented teaching from the
initial day and to guide other academic work like preparation of training guide/
course modules, updating the resource materials for training and other work
entrusted by the authorities from time to time . If the volunteers possess thorough
knowledge of all Departmental packages, and proficiency in latest Information
Technology trends of the Department , it will be considered as an added advantage.

ASPs and Senior most IPs who are due for promotion are eligible to apply for
the post of Sr.Instructor. The officers/ officials who are likely to retire or due for
promotion to Gr-B in one year need not be sponsored for the Post.

The officers selected will be entitled to training allowance @ 15% of basic

pay according to DOPT rulings as amended from time to time.

Suitable residential accommodation will be provided to the selected persons in

the campus.

The selected officers has to attend for a screening test and interview . Once
shortlisted, withdrawal of candidature will not be entertained. The selection is
subject to the clearance by the screening committee.

The applications with bio-data in the prescribed preformed attached, along with
copies of ACRS may please be forwarded through their concerned heads of units
so as to reach this office on or before 20-01-2011.
