Subject: No Objection Certificate (NOC) for an Early / Delayed Medical

Examination
1. The procedure for obtaining No Objection Certificate (NOC) for an early/ delayed
medical examination is covered in Flight Crew Licensing Circular (FCLC) NO. 3 of 2008
dated 25th March 2008 titled ‘Procedure for ratification of medical certification’. The
circular is also available under ‘Medical - Related Rules’ section of DGCA website.

2. Format for NOC Application. To simplify the procedure and to bring uniformity in
the process of requesting for NOC, the appended format for application of NOC is to
be used when applying for NOC for Medical Examination.

3. NOC Request by Email. The request for NOC shall be accepted by email also.
The dispatch of approved NOC shall not be by email/ FAX. It would be done by post/
alongwith PMR/ by hand to authorised representative.

4. Procedure for NOC by Email. The procedure for requesting for NOC by email
would be as follows.

(a) Fill up the appended format for request for NOC. Sign it.

(b) Scan the NOC application and send as an attachment alongwith the other
documents (listed in the application format) and send it to
