Homework Helpers: Volunteer to help local San Diego students with their

FEBRUARY 2011 homework! Volunteers are paired with students based on subject interest
and need. Homework Helpers meets every Tuesday evening while school
is in session. (EVERY TUESDAY 1800-2000)

VOLUNTEER/EVENT CALENDAR Sunrise Senior Living Center: Volunteer to spend time with the residents
of an assisted living community for seniors! Volunteers facilitate games
such as bingo, cards, etc. and spend time visiting with residents one on

Helpers Living Center America Feeding America San Diego: We will be sorting and stocking the Feed-

27 28 Tourmaline Beach Cleanup: The San Diego Armed Services YMCA,


along with Surfrider Foundation and San Diego Coastkeeper, will be
volunteering to cleanup Tourmaline Surf Beach in Pacific Beach! All sup-
plies will be provided. (SATURDAY, 26 FEBRUARY 0900-1100)
