D: -utt (cut off) that’s all I need to hear, ok then, get a hold of him, meet me outside in 5 minutes
(Cuts to associates getting spy and bringing him outside)

(shows them outside talking from far away camera angle, cant hear audio……see don pull out gun and
shoot spy, hear gun shot, w/d crow effects, associates pick up body, don walks away cleaning gun)

(Cuts to Don walking back in w/ gun, goes to his sons)

D: how are my boys doing?

Boys: good, good

D: umm hey ____ (oldest son)? Can I see u for a minute?

OS (oldest son): sure dad…

(Walks into room)

D: son remember when I told you to hide some items of mine in the back

OS: yeah….sure (awkwardly)

D: well I need you to add this to the rest of them, now listen I got to go, do you boys need any …money
or?-

OS: umm, nope I and ______ are good

D: ok then, I have to go, I’ll be home soon

(Shows dad leaving, camera still stuck on OS, looking @ gun, quick pan to gun, then back)

(Cuts to OS going outside to hide gun, show other guns when he puts it away)

*OS: when my dad handed me a gun I didn’t know what to expect, what it was used for, why he had
one, but I did know one thing something was up, and I would figure it out…..

LATER ON THAT NIGHT…….

(Shows car pulling up (cut if not possible), don goes inside, house is dark, he sits down @ the table and
looks at either 1) family pics from album 2) money 3) pics of rival family in manila folder)

(Cuts to far opposite angle, showing him being nervous, hand going through hair)

(FADES INTO morning shot, 2 brothers are sitting @ a table talking)

AS: what’s up?

OS: nothing really

AS:…..what did dad talk to you about the other day?

OS: umm well nothing important, umm other stuff, not really important (awkwardly, can’t let bro.know)

AS: oh….well he seemed pretty stressed out last night

OS: (pan t him w/ face of curiosity)

(Flashback to previous scene @ night, show don looking through papers, and AS seeing him from a
distance)

*AS: yeah he came home late, as usual and he was going through some stuff, acting really weird, but
then again that’s dad always being secretive.

(Come back)

OS: yeah that’s true……..oh, umm dad wanted to let you know that you need to set the security system
tonight because I wont be here, and obviously neither will he, so just hang out and play guitar hero or
something

AS: ok……..will do (looks kind of annoyed, but secretive)

OS: ok man, I got to go to work ill call you later to check up on you

(Say goodbye, keep camera on AS and let OS walk out of shot)

(Pan back to AS, gets up, and walks back into house through dining room, kitchen , and living room

*AS: my brother is a good man, he always looked out for me and everything,(cut to kitchen) even
though I’m not his biological brother he still treats me like his own, (cut to living room) the only thing
that annoys me is that dad always has to have these “private talks with him……

(FLASHBACK :pan to don taking son into room scene, and show AS being annoyed)

(Fade into next morning, AS is waking up, here’s someone pulling into driveway, runs to window, sees
brother rushing to house, he opens door)

AS: WHY WHA- (reverb gunshot)

AS: what’s going on?

(Shows brother trying to go to a closet/storage place inside house trying to find guns)

OS: I was at work today and when I left some guy was following me and tried to run me off the road, I
just got back here ……..(scuffle to get to closet)……….here take this…

(Hands AS a gun)

AS: what am I supposed to do with this?

OS: …..(shot fired)…..USE IT!!!

(Shots fired back and forth)

D: yeah…..

OS:WHATS WRONG NOW!! (SHOT FIRED)

AS: lost the call

OS: (SHOTS BACK AND FORTH, RUNS OUT OF AMMO)

OS: crap, out of ammo….._______(AS)!!! COME HERE NOW, listen to me I need you to get more ammo
from the shed, I can help lay down some cover fire w/ your gun, but I need you to grab the ammo from
the shed and get back here, alright, if you stay down you wont get hurt! Ok!

AS: BUT, BUT I cant I-

OS: IF YOU DON’T WERE DEAD, MOVE NOW! (SHOTS FIRED)

AS: (AS OUT SLIDER, AROUND HOUSE TO SHED, SHOTS ARE FIRED HE GETS A LITTLE WOUND, OS LAYS
DOWN COVERFIRE, HE GETS AMMO AND COMES BACK)

OS: I have an idea, you distract him, until I come back alright, don’t move at all (leaves) (shots fired)

(Shows goon creeping around house w/ gun lurking around to find the boys, cuts to AS hiding behind
side of house and shows goon getting closer, he gets even closer)

(OS opens door, cuts to goon seeing this, back to OS , OS shoots goon)
(Zooms in on face of OS, he drops gun, cam pans down to floor showing gun hit floor)

(Don pulls up )

D: boys!! Boys!!! What happened!

(OS is on steps w/ shocked look on face because he just killed someone)

(Don goes to AS, and asks same question)

AS: he, he followed _________ (OS) home from work and he had a gun and he-

D: ok its over, let me call gino and clean this mess up

(Don and Sons go inside)

(Pan to gun on floor and in background show them going inside, pan to inside)

D: are you hurt, any open wounds?

OS: NO

AS……..(nervous, shows hand is bloody)

D: _______(OS) take care of your brother, I’ll call for someone to drive him to the hospital

(Walks out of room, calls someone, ring ring ring)

Gino: yeah boss…

D: Gino, the _______ family is back, I might have to make that decision we were talking about sooner
than later, but for now get over here, they hurt _______ (AS), get him fix’d up

Gino: right away boss….(hang up)

(Don closes phone, walks back over to boys, shows hand wrapped up, w/ OS helping him)

D: are you gunna live? (Sarcastically)

AS: shut up!- it hurts!

D: sorry, gino should be over here any minute

D: _______(OS ) let me get this straight, he followed you home from work?

OS: yeah I mean I took the caddy, and I—

D: you know your not supposed to take that car, you know that!!!

OS: I know but – (car pulls up)

D: that’s him now (all go to front door, gino comes to door helps take AS into car, just as the Don is
about to leave he stops, and looks back @ OS, and closes the door)

OS: shouldn’t we go to the hospital w/ AS?

D: don’t worry he is in good hands…….come have a sit down with me in the dining room

( Both make their way to the dining room)

OS: so what’s this about?

D: well son, the way you handled yourself today really made me proud of me to call you my son, you
protected a fellow member of the family, even in the line of fire, you’re a good man…..and a good, loyal
man of the family deserves more responsibility…….son, I think it’s time I let you know what I do for a
living

OS: what do you mean?

D: well I haven’t always been 100% honest with you son

OS: Well that’s obvious

D: all my associates, Gino, the whole lot of them are always around to protect you because you’re too
much of a threat to them to keep you alive

OS: them?

D: well son remember how I told you your mother was killed in a car crash?

OS: yeah but I don’t see how that has to do with anything?

D: a long time ago when I first was given the responsibility of my position I was a big man , but also a big
target for rival families…… that’s exactly what happened, I was doing a deal back in the day, and they set
me up, they turned on me and got to your mom……lets just say one of us made it out alive, but I vowed I
would get revenge for what they did to disgrace this family and everything it stands for.

OS: is that the truth?

D:……….yes it is…….

OS:………………….

D: well son the reason I called you to this sit down was to tell you about your mother …….Son I’m getting
too old to keep running this business of the family, and soon I’m going to have to pass the torch onto
someone from within our circle who can do what’s best for our family’s future………and that somebody
is you.

OS: oh no I couldn’t, what about ________ (AS) I couldn’t tell him this it would be to ha-
D: you don’t………. all you have to do is make sure us, as a family, are sufficient in our business and that
your brother is safe…

OS: but why not him?

D: well son , you’re my only son w/ family blood, also your brother, _________(AS)as much as I love him,
he has Irish blood in him so he could never become a made man

D:………….son…..are you ready to accept a new role as my underboss/apprentice?

(OS & gino sitting @ the dining room table arguing)

OS: for the last time Gino I said I needed that new shipment in now, if we’re going to have bulls eye’s on
our selves for a while I want to know I at least have some kind of protection, go talk to Carl and make
sure we get in that shipment no later than tomorrow…..

Gino: alright _________(OS), I’ll call you when we’ve loaded the packages

OS: good

(Gino exits, Don enters)

D: how’s it going son?

OS: well Gino screwed up our new shipment on that merchandise we ordered from our Philly
connection

D: that’s ok I’m sure I can arrange something

OS: ok , that’ll work

D: Son, I think there’s something you should know about

OS: yeah sure, what’s going on?

D: I heard from some other “Business partners” of mine that the ________ (rival family) is up to
something, I hear through the grape vine that they’ve placed hits on some pretty important people,
people that we can’t afford to have “disappear”, if you catch my drift…..

OS: this is a problem, do we even have enough man power to look after ourselves around the clock to
make sure it isn’t any one of our associates?

D: Gino and his boys should be able to handle themselves. But ___________(OS) I need you to start
keeping tabs on our operations more carefully seeing that we don’t have an informant In our crew. Also
son, I need you to start seeing to it that you take after ___________(AS) more carefully these days. You
don’t know what these families are capable of, or what they plan on doing.

OS: I see, …..you don’t have to worry about me or ________(AS), I’m sure I can have someone take him
into hiding for the well being of this situation.

OS: I have to go………..I’ll return to the compound after I get that shipment secured.

D: (acknowledges son)

(OS leaves)

(Pan to Don staring down, then cut to side view of him seeing a briefcase in the corner of his eye, goes
to look outside, sees son has gone, figures he should look in his briefcase to see how his son is doing w/
the family business, looks inside and finds plans to kill off some of they’re associates, b/c he has pics of
them dealing w/ other non-family members, thinking they’re snitches.)

D:………………no(nervously)

FADE OUT

(Fade in to OS arriving at location, picking up Carl, he gets in passenger seat. Pans to far away angle)

Carl: did the shipment arrive on ti- (Gun shot, w/ crow sound effects)

FADE OUT

(Fade into next day, OS @ table thinking , gets a call, don is on phone)

D: ________(OS)!?

OS: yes Da-(cut off)

D: who the hell authorized the hit on Carl!, you know you have to get the consent from other partners to
authorize a hit, you can’t do that!

OS: I did what needed to be done…….(confidently)

D: what are you..Insane!? Carl wasn’t the snitch!!!

OS: I have physical evidence that he indeed was dealing w/ other families, I was given these pictures
from a close source

D: you idiot!, I sent Carl to deal w/ the Philly connection w/ the _________(random family) !!!

OS(shocked look)…………but …….the pictu,……….they were…….-

D: What is wrong with you!, ………….this can’t get out to the underworld, we’ll say it was an accident,
send gino and the boys to make it look like an accident…………you really screwed this one

OS: (still shocked, calls gino to tell them to arrange the accident scene)

(GO TO LP BRIDGE AND SHOW 2 GUYS THROWING SOMETHIN INTO THE LAKE (ROCK) AND JUST TO
HEAR THE SPLASH, TO MAKE THE AUDIENCE THINK THEY THREW CARLS BODY INTO THE RIVER)

(Next morning on outside patio eating breakfast)

AS: it’s about time you showed up, what’s been with you lately?

OS: just been …..Busy, you know helping out dad and working a lot of overtime @ work so I can support
both of us.

AS: ok, ok jees, I don’t need your life story, just sit down w/ me and eat some breakfast

OS: you’re an idiot you know that?

AS: yeah, yeah,………

OS: do me a favor, bro?

AS: ugghh, yeah what do you want ?

OS: Get the mail, I’m expecting a package from Philly

AS: yeah ok…..

(Cut to opposite angle, wait until AS walks out of shot)

(Follow AS to mail box, he receives a phone call)

(He picks up, cut to front of mail box, he’s walking towards it)

AS: hello? ………..o hey, bout time you called……..yeah (gets mail and starts walking back)………no it’s
done……..ok well ill talk to you later

(Hangs up , go back to opposite angle)

OS: who was that?

AS: my friend, Armando

OS: o yeah, what’s he up to these days?

AS: nothing much just sitting on his ass all day playing guitar hero

(Both laughs, laughter fades)

OS: did that umm…package come?

AS: Nope, just bills…..

OS: figures, (under his breath “ughhh gino”)

AS: o well why was it something important?

OS: no its just…..I really need to get that package now

AS: why what was it?

OS: oh no, don’t worry about it, just something I ordered, and Gino screwed it up

AS: phhh alright (sarcastically)

OS: (serious) yeah , anyways it was nice having this talk we should (gets up, and starts walking) …do it
again sometime

AS: ok………(abruptly realizes there is a piece f mail for him)…….Bro!!, you got-….(car drives off fast)
………………….a letter…………..hmmm……….(opens it up)………(shows confused look on his face)

(Cuts to OS in car, driving scenes from YouTube, pulls up to gino’s house, goes up to the front door, and
knocks)

Gino: (inside) yeahhh…. 1 minute

(OS keeps knocking)

Gino: (inside)coming!! Just a(opens door)…..sec………….oh……._________(OS)….how are y-……why are

you here?
(Pushes gin onside, and looks outside to see if anyone is looking)

Gino: what’s you de-

(OS pulls out a gun, points it @ Gino)

Gino: what are you doing!!!! Your insane!!!

OS: are you ratting us out to the FBI!!??, the ________ family!!???, who are you selling us out to??!!!
Huh!???

Gino: listen to me ________(OS)…….JUST CALM DOWN

OS: all I have to do is pull this trigger Gino, that’s it!!!!

OS: who is it Gino!

Gino: I swear to you ……..I….am not a snitch…….

(SHOWS don behind him)

D: son………stop…….put the gun do-

OS: dad?!....let me handle this, he’s a snitch

OS: but he, the package did’nt come yet, something’s up!

D: don’t worry about it, we can survive another day…….now PUT…THE GUN……DOWN!, now!

(Calming down….releases Gino)

(Gino demands they leave now! )

D: SON……I think this position has gotten to your head, maybe you should take a “leave of absence until
you mentally your b-

OS: no , no , I’m fine, just nervous that’s all, I can do it I can-

D: I’ll have someone take you into a safe house, take a break, find yourself, give me a call when your
better. I’ll take over for you for the time well being.

OS: yeah….your probably right ………….ok, maybe its for the best, but I will be back though

D: that I’m sure of…….I will see you soon son.

OS: ok dad (hand shake, OS goes to car, drives off)

D: (calls gino)………….gino, yeah……..no calm down…..listen to me, I told him…….yeah he’s going to take
a break, I’m going to straighten things out, ok ill talk to you later, tell the others, but don’t let this get
out………..you hear me!..........alright……..(hang up)

Later that night

(Don is discussing plans on making a move against the _________(rival family), with gino @ the table)

D: the other families probably already know about our leadership struggles by now so we need to really
show them that WE are in control and hit them where it really hurts………we have to go directly to the
heart of their operations………their compound

Gino: but boss don’t you think that’s a little dangero-

D: the only dangerous thing is sitting here @ our compound waiting to be killed in my own home, do you
want that, Gino? Huh?!

Gino: what ever you say boss, I’ll inform the troops (gets up to leave)

(Pans to don, zooming in until there is a little space above his head in the camera shot)

(Here a gun click, see top of gun on Don's head, screen goes blank, 2 shots are fired)

NEXT DAY

(OS is @ a meeting w/ some associates, gets a phone call)

OS: yeah……..woah woah woah, slow down-……….hmm………(stunned look)…………(hangs up, walks over
to steps, sits down, puts face in hands)

(Cuts to over the shoulder shot, OS picks up phone and calls someone)

OS: gather everyone we got, we need to find snitch , now!

(Goes to get in his car, and drives off)

(Friday)

(Outside @ table having meeting w/ everyone in the ________(family))

OS: obviously in this state of shock , we as a family need to face the facts of what is ultimately going to
happen……….a mob war……we will win this vendetta and avenge my Father. We will attack them as
planned, it is what my father would have wanted, and we will carry out his plan. We attack their
compound….. (On Sunday)

(Misc. scenes f family getting ready, w/ guns and maps, plans, etc.)

(Night before the attack, OS is @ table planning, similar to his father, AS sees him and walks over)

AS: hey, _________(OS)

OS:………….(no response)

AS: whatcha doing……….

OS: …………work………..

AS:, ok……….(about to leave, but comes back)

AS:(w/attitude) Listen here, what happened to dad wasn’t your fault, so don’t beat your self up for it.
What ever your doing you need to be smart, and alert, and most of all better……….the only way your
going to win this thing is if your better……….plain and simple……..and I want to help you………..or go
down trying.

OS: as much as I want you there I’m not losing u and dad in the same week, I cant take that.

AS: he was both our father, as much as he was yours, he was mine, I’m going with you, and that’s
final…..

OS:…………ok……….thanks bro………..

AS: no problem, I’m gunna go get ready, ill see you in the morning..

OS: yep………….

(Everyone is scrambling to get ready, they will split up into groups to infiltrate the enemy compound)

(In a row of OS,AS, *maybe others*, walk down a road in slow-mo, while seein' red by unwritten law is
playing)

(They get ready to enter the house, they enter it, its empty, they keep moving, clearing each room,
about to check the basement(or other room, depends on filming location)

OS: I’LL GO IN FIRST AND THEN YOU GUYS COME IN AFTER ME, OK?

AS: gotcha……

(Opens door and is ready to shoot, but to his surprise no one is there……..(camera blacks out)
(Camera comes back, OS is tied up, and sees AS looking at him)

OS: uggh, what’s going on?..........

AS: don’t worry about it, it will all be over soon

OS: why are you, ………what…..did you?......

AS: kill the Don……..yeah I guess you could call it that.

(FLASHBACK)playing Eric Clapton’s layla @ 3:30 min, instrumentals part

*AS: you see…..our compound is locked down at night, only someone w/ inside knowledge could
possibly get in……(shows guards letting him in)seeing as I’m the dons’ son it wasn’t too hard. So I took
that gun you gave me during the shooting and did what you told me to do……….use it!.........(show don’s
death scene again)it was just a matter of pulling the trigger……..(cut to extended scene where Gino is
killed while exiting)once for him and once for Gino. (Cut to AS looking @ briefcase, w/ files of the
upcoming hit on the rival family) and I saw all the info I needed to see about this Hit. So I informed my
family that- o wait….(laugh)……that’s right, I forgot to mention…….I never told you who my birth parents
were.

OS: you told me their names were Kate and jack. An Irish couple right? They couldn’t financially support
you…so-

AS: ahh yes you correct, Jack and Kate…..________(rival family’s last name)

OS: so you’re-

AS: yes, I am a biological member of the _______(rival family)

AS: my parents wanted me to find out your whole operation, so I could be adopted by your father to
learn everything about your family and wait until a power struggle, then simply destroy your operations
all together….(smirk)

AS: it was almost too easy, I knew the don would give you leadership instead of me because I did not
have the same bloodline as you. Which would have ruined my plan, but when I found out about your
“Philly connection” I was able to manipulate you through them. (Cut to breakfast scene when AS got
mail, then show extended scene where AS takes Philly package and giving it to Armando) When I went
for the mail that day, your package did come, it wasn’t gino’s fault. Gino was a loyal employee of your
family, you should have shown him some respect.

OS: I just can’t believe you would go through all of that just to destroy our operations

AS:….well it worked did’nt it?

OS: so everything………the shootout……..me and you……..our-

AS: yep…….

OS: but you got injured during the shootout?

AS: no victory, no sacrifice, right?

OS: your sick…………

AS: no, I’m smart, b/c I’m not the one tied up in the chair right now , am I?

OS: so what now, are you going to kill me? Huh? Is that your big plan?

AS: you are just on it today, wow………but the only thing your going to be on is the front of the
newspaper,…………I can just see it now…..”BLOODBATH: CRAZY SON KILLS DON ________ AND HIS
ASOCIATES”……….its a shame you won’t be able to see it…….

OS: I cant believe you………….do it………just do it…….

OS: but before you do……….was it worth it?

AS: ……………yeah I guess so……….(GUN SHOT)

(Calls Armando)

AS: yeah its me………yeah its done…….ok,……….send them over, and go plant the evidence @ the
compound………..you know the security code………alright………(hang up) (gimme shelter starts playing)

(Walks out of house, makes his way to the driveway, car pulls up, takes him away, switch to road angle,
show car driving away)
