Solution
We developed a detailed projection of the
overall impact of iPlayer on the UK broadband
and media markets, and specifically the effect
on ISPs’ costs
Result
Based on our analysis, iPlayer gained approval
from the BBC’s governing body, the BBC Trust.
Our findings also helped the BBC to answer the
concerns expressed by ISPs. iPlayer currently
serves over 130 million requests per month to
more than 1.5 million users
