L.I.N.K.S. offers an orientation to the Marine Corps lifestyle, helping Marines and their families
understand and adapt to the unique challenges military life often presents. Sessions cover
military pay, deployment, base services, moving and much more.

The goal of the Life Skills program is to provide personal development workshops that

Volunteers who support and assist the unit Family Readiness Program will have definite positions
with specific job descriptions and unique training for each position. Family Readiness Volunteer
Training provides required training to Family Readiness Assistants and Advisors.

School Liaisons provide parents information on local K-12 schools, build relationships between
MCAS Miramar and local educational communities, and keep military and school leaders
