to learn today?
8. Teacher then selects few pupils
and asks them what they are going
to learn.
Sample of pupils answers:
 Multiplication of
decimals
9. Teacher explains that pupils will be
taught on multiplication of decimal
numbers with two decimal places
involving whole numbers.

 0.45 × 6
 0.67 × 4
 0.89 × 7
 4.67 × 2
7. Teacher and pupils will discuss
the answers on the board.

Step 2 – Skills 1. Pair work – finding errors 1. Pupils will work in pairs in AVA:
development completing this activity.  Number
(±15minutes) 2. Teacher prepares a card with sentence card
number sentence cards where the
answers are errors. As an example: CCTS:
 3.72 × 2 = 6.144  Visualizing
 5.65 × 5 = 560  Analyzing
3. Pupils will have to work in pairs
to identify the errors and correct Moral Value(s):

decimal numbers and Wheel B: one conclusions
digit numbers.
5. Teacher will spin both the Moral Value(s):
wheels to select the numbers.  Rationale
6. Pupils will have to multiply both thinking
the numbers to two decimal places.

the game. .
11. Pupils will listen to
teacher’s instruction before they are
starting the game.

12. Pupils will work as a

team to get all the questions and
answers on the flash cards and the
standard written method must be
written on the A4 paper.
13. The group with the
highest points and correct Standard
Written Method (SWM) written on
the A4 paper will win the game.
