Spiritual Philosophy
46
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their
homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all
the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
Acts 2:46-47

16
Do not allow what you consider good to be spoken of as evil. 17For the kingdom of God is not a
matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,18because
anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men.
Romans 14:16-18

Some wisdom from the world:

from http://www.eatcooklove.com/about-eat-well-cook-often-love-much/

Cooking and eating together is not a cure all, however it can prove to be a highly pleasurable
experience on a basic biological level as well as upon a psychological and emotional level. Cooking
and eating together has great potential, when embraced, to bring some sense of balance back to
our lives. There is so much focus upon the unhealthy relationships in life including our
relationship with food – it is time we focus upon what we can do to make our relationships
healthier and happier – what better catalyst for this than cooking and eating together?

"Cooking is one of the oldest arts and one which has rendered us the most important service in
civic life."
Jean-Anthelme Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826)

"When we no longer have good cooking in the world, we will have no literature, nor high and
sharp intelligence, nor friendly gatherings, no social harmony."
Marie-Antoine Carême
