Top 5 Reasons to use the 180 Watt Jumbo Illuminator Add

UFO:
1. For indoor growers, the amount of energy consumption is of
great concern for most. At 180W of power, this is like having
two extra house lights on and would account for a small
amount of total electric bill.

2. The HEAT signature problem is no longer an issue with this

LED Grow Light.. Say goodbye to any of those worries....
3. The Y ield.....This is pretty much what it's all about right?
Well the output of our 180W Jumbo UFO is equivalent to a
600W HID. Now we're not saying that the 180W Jumbo UFO
emits more Lumens output than a 600W HID, but to state
that the Illuminator Jumbo UFO emits the same amount of
absorbable light as a 600W HID and it is this ability to only
emit key absorbable light that your plants are able to use
that makes it possible to achieve the parity results with an
HID at just a fraction of the wattage. Lumens output is not a
key factor in determining plant growth, it is the ability of the
plants to absorb and transform the light energy into
photosynthesis and which wavelengths are to be used to
achieve those key absorption points. Lumens are a common
measure of output that is used to measure the intensity of
HID Lighting, but really has no direct bearing on determining
plant growth. Remember that over 85% of the light emitted
from an HID Light is waisted in the form of non-absorbable
light waves as well as heat energy.
4. The HID Bulbs are only good for 2 cycles before you see the
yield start to diminish. That means you have to buy new
bulbs every 2 cycles. They aren't cheap either! The lifecycle
for the 180W LED is for 50,000 hours - that's nearly 10 years
if you use 14 hour cycles on average. That pays for itself
many times over.

5. No Ballast required, No thermal footprint, No bulbs to

replace, No maintenance costs.

Hydroponics, Horticulture, Greenhouse Lighting, etc

Installation Recommendations:
The following are recommendations for hanging your
light and the area it will cover. Since no two gardens are
exactly alike, we suggest you experiment with variations
in the distance from your plants and your total grow
area to see what works best for you.
Important Note: Too much light will cause serious
damage to seedlings and young plants! Plants at the
earliest stages of development must be placed the
farthest distances from the light.

Update November 12, 2010

Reviewer: Jeff from Sacramento, CA
Well we are finally finshed with our grow, though I wish I had the 4 180s from the beginning so we could have a full grow
under them.. Well we averaged just over 6 ozs. per plant dry weight. I am doing another full grow under the 4 180s with the
addition of a 2700K C FL as ProSource recommended this would shorten my flowering cycle by 1-2 weeks as well as give me
more total weight. This is by far a phenomenal grow to say the least, but I saved the best for last...smoke report: 5 Stars!!
better than anything we ever had from HPS lights. Will report back in a couple of months to let you know how the new grow
went.

experiment September 14, 2010

Reviewer: Jeff from Sacramento, CA
I wanted to experiment with 1 of the Jumbo UFOs because I saw it had good reviews on quite a few of the forums, so I started
with 1 to see how well it would work compared to my HPS setups.. After about a month I saw good parity with my 600W HPS
and i really couldn't tell the difference in results. I then decided to purchase 3 more Jumbo's and align them the way
Prosource recommended and after 6 weeks in my flowering cycle, I can say that it is way outpacing my 600W HPS and my
friend who uses a 1000W HPS says that it outdoing what his grow is producing. We have 6 plants in a 4'x4' with 4 180s in
there and we expect to get around 6 ozs. per plant. We'll be done in another 3 or 4 weeks so I'll report back on the results
when we weigh everything out.

30 lights look off? April 22, 2010

Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Renton, WA United States
I was not sure what to think when my light came with 30 lights that look off. Only when i emailed the company, they said it is
infrared lights and cannot be seen by naked eye? Anyone else have this experience? You think this thing would come with
some type of directions. The work very well
