DISCOVER THE TIMID SHOOT welcoming its first sunshine rays or the one-hundred-
year old laurel tree, an expert on the secrets Nature holds. Mysteries to be disclosed
at each step we take, to the sound of the wind in the foliage.

da mão humana que outrora a procurava para obter lenha. Hoje é um fóssil
vivo, onde as copas das árvores tocam o céu.
NATURE IS PRESERVED WITH SAPIENCE: the difficult access to the forest has
isolated it from the hands of Man who used to enter it in search of wood.
Today it is a living fossil, with tree tops which reach the sky.

A LAURISSILVA, Património Mundial Natural da UNESCO, é uma paleta

única de tonalidades, variações de uma só cor: o verde da vida, mesclado com
a pureza das águas que a percorrem.
THE LAUREL FOREST, part of UNESCO’s World Heritage, has a unique pallet
of shades, variations of only one color: the green of life mingled with the
purity of the waters that flow within it.

NA PÁGINA SEGUINTE: PÉ ANTE PÉ, COM DELICADEZA, desbrava-se caminho

por entre o novelo verdejante da Laurissilva, pedaço de natureza em estado
bruto, onde as vozes dos deuses ainda ecoam em cada tronco, em cada ramo.
