"I am present, O Allah, I am present, there is no partner unto

You. I am present. Definitely praise and glory is yours (for You).
The Kingdom is also Yours. There is no partner for You".

Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.) said that if a Muslim recites the talbiya,

then the east and the west, his right and left, every tree and cloud on
the earth will recite the talbiya. (Tirmidhi)

you will … ask Him to make this journey easy for you and all, to

in crossing over its distance easily."

"O Allah! Thou art our companion in this journey and the care-
taker of our family behind us."

"O Allah! I seek Thy protection against the troubles in this

journey; against beholding my property and family in bad

"I depart with Allah's name, relying on Him. It is Allah who saves
us from sins with His guidance (the ability to do so)." (Tirmidhi)
It is stated in the hadith that if a person recites the above dua and departs then
there is an (unseen) procalamation that his need will be fullfilled and that he will
be protected from any harm or injury. On hearing this dua, the Satan goes away
from the place and refrains from troubling the reciting person. (Tirmidhi)

5.0 Hajj Niyat and Getting into State of Ihram

1. Clean Yourself: Unwanted hairs, Clip Nails, Perform Ghusl

2. Put on the Ihram
3. Perform 2 Rakat Salat
a) Brothers should cover their head with shoulder piece of the Ihram
b) Read Surah Kafroon in 1st Rakat and Surah Ikhlas in 2nd
4. Supplicate – ask Allah (SWT)
5. Make Niyat :

The intention for 'Qiran' should be pronounced as under:

"O Allah! I intend to perform Hajj and Umra both (Qiran). So

make them easy for me and accept them from me."

The 'State of Ihram' does not begin by merely putting on the

sheets and praying 2 rakat and defining your intention, but
instead it commences with your utterance of 'Talbiya'

Do not recite Talbiya till you are in the plane and it is actually
taking off on runway on the last leg of your journey to
Jeddah/Mecca … then u r sure that InshaAllah u will reach Mecca
… else anything can happen and u will be in state of Ihram

Whenever you pronounce 'Talbiya', repeat it three times loudly

and after that recite Darod Shareef with a low voice. Thereafter
you may pray to Allah for your wishes and objects. Then
'Masnoon' invocation after 'Talbiya' is: -

"O Allah! I ask Thee for Thy pleasure and Paradise and I Seek Thy
Protection against Thy wrath and the Hell."

Ilaaha Illa-llaahu Muhammadu-r Rasoolu-llah.

O Allah! I seek refuge in You in this that I ascribe any partner

unto You knowingly. I seek Your forgiveness for the sin of
which I have no knowledge. I repent from it. And becoming
disgusted of Kufr and Shirk and of falsehood and slandering and
of all other acts of disobedience, I submit to Your will and I
believe and declare: There is none worthy of worship except
Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

3 Times: Holy Prophet raised his hands and pronounced (Allah-

o-Akbar Wa Lillahil Hamd) three times and thereafter he said
this invocation :

"There is no God but Allah, He is Unique, He hath no partner.

The whole universe is for him and for Him is the praise. O Allah!
Keep me on the guidance and purify me with piety and forgive
me in the Hereafter and in this world."
