CULTIVATING SEEDS OF FAITH

The theme of the Adult Faith Formation program, which is about to begin in our area, speaks beautifully
to our Season of Lent.
Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, our opportunity to nurture the seed of faith planted at our baptism. The
season has powerful traditions beginning with the wearing of ashes, our fast and abstinence and indeed
the little acts we personally use to nurture our faith.
Lent is a wonderful season that prepares us for the pride we take in celebrating the new life that awaits
us in 40 days.
God’s blessings on the journey as we take these days to nurture the Seeds of Faith during Lent 2011.
