We require a SAN storage engineer with 3-5 years of experience Hitachi Storage Systems. The
candidate also needs to be proficient in managing NAS devices.

Job Description: Job Duties and Key Responsibilities:

1. Provides advanced technical support and design for enterprise SAN and storage solutions.

2. Provides advanced technical support and design for enterprise backup solutions.

3. Performs or supervises the hardware refresh cycles and code upgrades for the SAN and
Backup related infrastructure.

4. Resolves Backup and SAN related problems by gathering diagnostic information for
submission to vendor support teams, applying and testing fixes, and performing production
corrective
maintenance.

5. Supports software upgrades of the SAN and Backup software systems.

6. Performs daily SAN and Backup related tasks such as storage provisioning and adding new
systems to storage and backup solutions.

7. Provides system solutions for complex issues across the appropriate engineering
environments to meet business requirements or enhance performance.

8. Provides escalated, highly complex technical support to customers by investigating and

resolving storage-related matters of significance.

9. Develops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation
and solution of highly complex system requirements and problems. Develops documentation;
oversees implementation of same.
