– When no connection is established after 15 seconds, repeat above steps.

• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment to an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is

Tips for using your optical travel mouse
• Scroll the scroll wheel (1) to wake up the mouse from sleeping mode.
• Avoid using the mouse under following condition:

– in extreme hot, cold, dusty or magnetic environments;
– near fax machines,TV sets, radios, mobile phones or wireless
devices;
3 – on metal surfaces.
• The optical technology can precisely detect the mouse motion on most surfaces.
Avoid using the optical travel mouse on any reflective, transparant. metallic or complex-
pattern surface.
• Set the mouse ON/OFF switch (6) to the OFF position when you not use the mouse.

1 Nota: Si su PC se ejecuta en Windows® 98, puede aparecer una ventana emergente cuando se
enchufa el conector USB del receptor en el puerto USB. Se le solicitará que inserte el CD-ROM
de Windows® 98.
Hágalo y siga las instrucciones en pantalla para instalar el driver requerido o establezca la ruta
del driver como ‘Windows\system’ o la otra ruta que el driver haya localizado.

2 Desconecte el ratón antiguo.
3 Enchufe el conector USB (2) del receptor en el puerto USB

B Pulse el botón CONNECT del receptor (2).
C Pulse el botón CONNECT del receptor (4) antes de 15 segundos.
> Después de 15 segundos se ha establecido la conexión. El ratón está listo para utilizarse.

Notas:
– La distancia entre el teclado y el receptor no puede superar los 6 metros.
– Si no se ha establecido la conexión después de 15 segundos, repita los pasos anteriores.
– Una vez se establecido la conexión, no tiene que reconectar el ratón y el receptor después de
desactivar el ratón, cambiar las pilas o reiniciar el ordenador, por ejemplo.

Consejos para utilizar su ratón de viaje óptico

• Actúe la rueda de desplazamiento (1) para quitar al ratón del modo de dormir.
• Evite utilizar el ratón bajo las condiciones siguientes:
– bajo los rayos directos del sol;
– en entornos extremamente calientes, fríos, polvorientos o
magnéticos;
– cerca de máquinas de fax, televisores, radios, teléfonos móviles o dispositivos
inalámbricos;
– sobre superficies metálicas.
• La tecnología óptica puede detectar con precisión el movimiento del ratón en la mayoría
de superficies. Evite utilizar el ratón de viaje óptico sobre superficies reflectantes,
transparentes, metálicas o de diseño complejo.
• Ponga el interruptor ON/OFF del ratón (6) en la posición OFF cuando no utilice el ratón.
