Changing of inverter type in spare part RMIO board

• standard software version ASXR7310 / AS7R7292 and later
versions

1. Background

The loading package of Standard Application is divided to two different HW related packages:

AS7R7xxx and ASXR73xx

The ASXR73xx package supports only types R2-R8 in products of ACS800-01, -02, -04, -07.

The AS7R7xxx package supports only types R2i-R8i, nxR8i in products of ACS800-07, -11, -17, -31, -37, -
104, -107 and ACS800LC

2. Supported spare part inverter types

All inverter types for spare part RMIO board are in 17 parameters. Each parameter contains one
logical group of inverters. E.g. parameter 112.20 INV RECNF STD 200 includes 200 V standard
drive series inverter types (SRxxxx_y).

From AS7R7322 inverter types are divided in two groups.

Both are available in the same DOS loading package, but require separate DriveWindow backup
packages (XRNONE and LXNONE).

When software is downloaded with DOS, only the inverter types in the same inverter group are
downloaded and available in reconfiguration. The inverter group division is as follows:

3. Other changes

• Parameter 112.06 INVERTER RECONFIG, where all the inverter types were previously, has been
removed.

• Inverter type selection texts can now be seen also on different DriveTools windows. Previously only
selected number which was describing inverter type was displayed.

• In new version XXNONE type values are downloaded automatically before the requested type.
Previously XXNONE type had to be first and after that a required inverter type. If XXNONE loading
was not done before loading new type, all inverter configuration parameters were not changed to new
values.

• In new version 102.1 PARAM LOCK is not needed to open if reconfigure parameter is changed using
a DriveTool.

4. Inverter type changing procedure for RMIO boards having XXNONE, XRNONE or LXNONE type
downloaded

a. Set 16.03 PASS CODE to 564. This opens parameter groups 112 and 190.
b. Select inverter type from parameters 112.20- 112.36
c. Make a power down for RMIO card.
