(iv) Take a Printout of the 'FEE PAYMENT CHALLAN' and fill it in a
clear and legible handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS. The challan is in
duplicate.
(v) Go to the nearest Corporation Bank Branch with the Fee
payment Challan and pay, in Cash, the requisite Application Fee
along with the appropriate commission which is Rs. 10.00 at
present. The details of fee to be paid between 08.03.2011 and
08.04.2011 are indicated below. Even if the Bank extends the last
date of online registration to avoid rush at the last minute, the valid
dates are uniform.

(vi) Obtain your receipt copy of the Application Fee Payment
Receipt duly receipted by the Bank with (a) Branch Name (b)
Branch Code Number, (c) Receipt Number (TSL No.), (d) Date
of Deposit (e) Amount filled by the Branch Official.
(vii) Before applying online a candidate will be required to have
a scanned (digital) image of his photograph and signature as
per the specifications given on the website.
(viii) Candidates should first scan their photograph and Signature,
ensuring that both the photograph and signature are within the
required specifications. If the size of the file is more than the
specified limit then adjust the settings of the scanner.
(ix) Candidates are now ready to Apply Online by re-visiting the
Bank's website and going to the sublink to open up the
appropriate Online Application Format.
(x) Carefully fill in the details from the Recruitment Application Fee
Payment Receipt in the Online Application Form at the appropriate
places.
(xi) Care should be taken by the applicant while filling in
information in the Online Application Form. Copy the fee
payment details from the Fee Payment Receipt.
(xii) After filling in the details on the application form candidates are
required to submit the application online, once submitted a
registration number and password will be generated by the
system. Kindly note the same for future use.
(xiii) Take a printout of the system generated application form
immediately. The printout of the Application form must not be
sent to the Bank.
(xiv) Candidates should keep xerox copy of the application printout
and original fee payment challan for their record.
(xv)Original fee payment challan will have to be submitted
along with the Call Letter at the time of written test/ interview.
Without the Original fee payment challan the candidate will not
be allowed to appear for the written test/ interview.
Note : 1. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post may
do so by filling and submitting appropriate on-line application.
However, they should pay applicable fees separately for each post
they desire to apply. 2. Please make sure that you have applied for
the correct post you intend to apply and are eligible to apply by filling
in the appropriate Post in the space provided in the Online
Application. Modification if any may be carried out online only upto
10.04.2011.
Guidelines for scanning the Photograph & Signature
Before applying online a candidate will be required to have a scanned
(digital) image of his/her photograph and signature as per the
specifications given below.
(i) Photograph Image:
l Photograph must be a recent passport style colour picture.
l Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-
coloured, preferably white, background.
l Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face
l If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you,
or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and
there are no harsh shadows
l If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye"
l If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and
your eyes can be clearly seen.
l Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious
headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
l Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
l Size of file should be between 20kb-50 kb
l Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than
50KB. If the size of the file is more than 50 KB, then adjust the
settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of
colours etc., during the process of scanning.
(ii) Signature Image:
l The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
l The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by
any other person.
l The signature will be used to put on the Hall Ticket and
wherever necessary.
l If the Applicant's signature on the answer script, at the time of
the examination, does not match the signature on the Hall
Ticket, the applicant will be disqualified.
l Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
l Size of file should be between 10kb-20kb
l Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20KB
Scanning the photograph & signature:
(1) Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch)
(2) Set Color to True Color
(3) File Size as specified above
(4) Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/
signature, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final
size (as specified above).
(5) The image file should be JPG or JPEG format. An example file
name is : image01.jpg or image01.jpeg Image dimensions can be
checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file
image icon.
Candidates using MS Windows/MSOffice can easily obtain photo and
signature in .jpeg format not exceeding 50KB & 20KB respectively by
using MS Paint or MS Office Picture Manager. Scanned photograph
and signature in any format can be saved in .jpg format by using 'Save
As' option in the File menu and size can be reduced below 50KB
(photograph) & 20KB (signature) by using crop and then resize option
(Please see point (i) & (ii) above for the pixel size) in the 'Image' menu.
Similar options are available in other photo editor also.
If the file size and format are not as prescribed, an error message will be
displayed.
While filling in the Online Application Form the candidate will be
provided with a link to upload his photograph and signature.
Procedure for Uploading the Photograph and Signature
(i) There will be two separate links for uploading Photograph and
Signature
(ii) Click on the respective link “Upload Photograph / Signature”
(iii) Browse and Select the location where the Scanned Photograph /
Signature file has been saved.
(iv) Select the file by clicking on it
(v) Click the 'Upload' button
Your Online Application will not be registered unless you upload
your photograph and signature as specified.
Note: 1. In case the face in the photograph or signature is unclear the
candidate's application may be rejected.
2. After registering online candidates are advised to take a printout of
their system generated online application forms.
3. In case the photograph or signature is unclear, the candidate may
edit his application and re-upload his photograph or signature.
11. ACTION AGAINST CANDIDATES FOUND GUILTY OF
MISCONDUCT: Candidates are warned that they should not furnish
any particulars that are false, tampered, fabricated or suppress any
material information while filling up the application form and submitting
the certified copies / testimonials.
At the time of interview, if a candidate is (or has been) found guilty of : i)
using unfair means or ii) impersonating or procuring impersonation by
any person or iii) misbehaving in the interview hall or iv) resorting to any
other irregular or improper means in connection with his / her
candidature for the selection, or v) obtaining support of his / her
candidature by any means, such a candidate may in addition to
rendering himself / herself liable to criminal prosecution will be liable
(a) to be disqualified from the interview for which he / she is a candidate
(b) to be debarred, either permanently or for a specified period from any
examination or selection held by the Bank.
Note: The Bank/IBPS would be analyzing the responses of a candidate
with other appeared candidates to detect patterns of similarity. On the
basis of such an analysis, if it is suspected that the responses have
been shared and scores obtained are not genuine/valid, the Bank
reserves the right to cancel his/her candidature.
12. Employees of Corporation Bank are also eligible to apply for
the post, subject to their fulfilling specifications stipulated. The
Employees of Corporation Bank would be eligible for relaxation in
upper age limit by 3 years for Recruitment to posts of Special
Officers in MMGS II and above.
13. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: a) Before applying for any post the
candidate should ensure that he / she fulfils the eligibility and other
norms mentioned in this advertisement. Bank would be free to reject
any application at any stage of the recruitment process, if the candidate
is found ineligible for the post for which he/she has applied. The
decision of the Bank shall be final in respect of qualification,

assuring locomotor/Verbal/Visual/ hearing Disabilities as the case may
be. Only those candidates who are blind / low vision or locomotor
impaired in both hands and both arms can use own scribe at their cost
during the written examination. In all such cases, where a scribe is
used, the following rules will apply. (A)The candidate will have to
arrange his/her own scribe at his own cost. (B)The Scribe should
possess less marks than the candidate appearing at the written
examination and not more than 60% marks in his/her own academic
stream. (C) The Scribe should not be a graduate of any stream. (D) The
Scribe may be from any Academic Stream. (E) Both, the candidate as
well as the scribe will have to give a suitable undertaking, confirming
that the scribe fulfils all the stipulated eligibility criteria for a scribe as
mentioned above. Further, in case it later transpires that he/she did not
fulfil any of the laid down eligible criteria or suppressed the material
facts, the candidature of the applicant will stand cancelled, irrespective
of the result of the written examination. (F) Such candidates who use a
scribe shall be eligible for extra time of 20 minutes for every hour of the
examination.
