3. To mount the clutch bracket proceed as
follows.

KOHLER ENGINE
A. Secure the bracket to the engine with the
K6-14 hex bolt as shown in Figure III. NOTE: The stud
on the clutch should ftt loose and allowed to float in
the groove of the bracket.
B. Install the 30" black wire, 8519 wire clips,
and the wire connector to the bracket as shown in
Figure II. FIGURE III
 4. loosen the band holding the fuel tank and
move the tank forward as shown in Figure IV.
5. Connect the 12" orange wire between the
cigar lighter and the switch. See Figure IV.

6. To connect the clutch wire to the switch proceed

as follows.

KOHLER ENGINE
Wrap the wire several turns around the throttle
cable, up through the rubber grommet in the tank
support plate, and connect to the switch. See Figure V.

LAUSON ENGINE
A. Run the wire along right hand frame rail,
two 8519 are provided to hold the wire to the rail.
B. Run the wire up along the right hand edge of
the hoodstand. Use the two 3023 clips to hold the
wire to the hoodstand.
C. Thread the wire through the rubber grommet
in the tank support plate and connect to the switch.
See Figure V.
7. On new models tractors a plug button is pro-
vided in the dash for the switch. Remove the plug
button and mount the switch and knob. See Figure VI.
On older models the switch should be mounted on
the right hand side of the hoodstand. To mount the
switch drill a 1~2 hole as shown in Figure VI.

CARE OF CLUTCH
This is a sealed unit and does not need lubricating.
If the clutch has to be removed and a wheel puller
is used, the puller arms should clamp on the rear
of the larger pulley.

To remove this type, screw a 1"_8 bolt in to the bore.
It will force the clutch to move off of the engine shaft.

Prolonged exposure to water and freezing tempera-
ture could cause the clutch to become frozen. Do
not attempt to use the clutch if this condition exists.
