segment and Maruti Udyog Ltd., the leader in Passenger cars in
India. SPIL is engaged into production of Diesel & Petrol Engines,
Transmission and Aluminium Castings & Components. SPIL’s
greenfiled project for manufacturing diesel engine has a technical
collaboration with Fiat Auto S.p.A., Italy and General Motors

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate the New Project Activities & successfully establishing
a new Counter Shaft line (Soft ).
• Production planning as per the Customer Requirements planned
all the necessities for smooth production like raw material, oil,
tools, manpower etc.
• Provide proper training to my line operator so that Some kaizen
improvements done on lines.
• Proper planning & monitoring of oil consumptions used on all
lines undertaken by me so that Cost reduction activities has to
be done successfully.
• Ensure the cutting life of all tools used on lines by maintaining
required parameters like cutting speed,feed,depth of cut .
• Sound Knowledge of Setting of Gear Hobbing (Kashifuzi),
CHEMFERING & DUBBRING M/c(Sanyo), Roll
 Forming(NACHI),Machining centre (LMW,AMS,TAKISAWA),
Shaving (Kanzaki,MITSUBISHI), Turning M/c (OKUMA),GUN DRIL
M/C(WIDMA),Thread Rolling M/C .
• Preparation of required quality & production formats for all lines
as per requirement.
• Maintain & update production related document, visual
management and supervision of daily work management.
• To utilize 7 Q.C. tools for problem solving in case of Quality
abnormalities. (Ishikawa, Pareto, why-why, histogram, control
charts.
• Analysis of parts contributing to defects and taking up corrective
action Develop and lead proactive improvement.
• Checking of all machines settings as per job & monitoring
operator’s problem during setting & aware them to out target.
• Effective implementation of company policies and scheme and
increasing awareness level among associates
• Maintain 5-S level of the area.
• Preparation of MIS Report.
