Faith Formation
Annual Easter Egg Hunt
All are invited to participate in our Annual Easter Egg Hunt after the
12:00 Mass on Easter Sunday.
Wear your Easter bonnets and bring your baskets to find and collect
Easter eggs.
*****We are accepting donations of plastic eggs and candy for
the hunt. Please drop off your donations to Eileen DeJulio’s

Summer Religious Education
Classes are filling up fast. If you have not registered your child for
this week long Faith Formation and Fun, please do so by April 20th.
Registrations forms are located on the information walls in the Nar-
thex and in the Religious Education Hall. The fee is $100.00 for one
child and $150.00 per family of two or more.
Catechist Formation Evening Event
The Department of Faith Formation requests that all Summer Reli-
gious Education Volunteers attend the Catechist Formation evening
on Wednesday, April 13th at 6:30pm. Dinner will be provided in the
Parish Life Center. You will have the opportunity to pick up your
teaching materials, view curriculums and schedules for the summer
program and meet and greet your fellow catechists. Please confirm

Volunteers Needed:
We are still accepting applications for volunteer catechists in the Faith
Formation Programs for Summer and Fall sessions. If you are inter-
ested in sharing your faith with the children of St. Andrew, please
contact Eileen DeJulio this week at 770-641-9720 ext 228. We also
need lunch volunteers for the summer program.
JPII Bookstore is looking for some volunteers. If you are interested in
working in the bookstore after any of the Saturday or Sunday Masses,
please contact Eileen DeJulio to be put on the schedule. Simple
training is provided.
EDGE/CHAMPS
The Youth Programs for grades 4th through 8th will begin in
full force again in September. Registration forms for this
wonderful social and service organization for youth will begin this
summer. Watch the bulletin for more information on upcoming
events.

USED PROM DRESSES FOR FASHION SHOW
The Spanish Ministry is collecting gently used prom dresses and
shoes for a fashion show “Moda Real”. The purpose of this event is
to expose the girls to this American custom. Please bring dresses

Ministry office
WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING
Need less stress in your life? Come learn from Barbara Bradley, a
massage therapist, simple ways to learn to relax our bodies with
everyday techniques. Come join us on Tuesday, April 12th. We will
have the rosary at 7:00pm in the Family Center with the meeting to

St. Andrew’s Parish Council Meeting
Date: March 17, 2011, Members present: Margaret Ward, President,
Lisa Biagioni, Vice-President, Fran Schroeder, Secretary, John Miles,
Phil Cote, Susan Demaso, Rhett DeBuys, Dennis Klein, Michael
Walsh, Chuck Langgood. Also present: Jeanne Faas, Father Michael,
Father Carlos, Deacon Tom Gotschall and, Deacon Gary Schantz.
Excused: Bob Oullette.
Meeting Called to Order:
The meeting was called to order by President Margaret Ward at
6:41PM. Roll call was conducted. Quorum was established
and we opened with prayers led by Father Carlos.
Opening remarks/Approval of Minutes
Brief introduction of each Parish Council member to Father Mi-
chael.
Minutes were approved by Dennis Klein, seconded by Susan
Demaso.
Date set for next meeting. It will be Thursday, April 28th due to
Holy week falling on normal meeting date.
Old Business:
Parish directory is ready to go to print as soon as we have a
picture of Father Michael and his pastor letter to be in-
cluded.
Spring Helping Hands – Michael Walsh in charge. It is being
held Saturday, March 19th.
Donut Tents – Susan Demaso – Will report at next meeting.
International Dinner – Chuck Langgood – This will be held
July 9th after 5PM Mass. More details to follow.
Movie nights – Rhett DeBuys – Will look into the Squires
taking over this event.
Catholics Coming Home – Bob Oullette – In his absence he
sent a memo which stated that there is a need for more
publicity and a better display of the banner. Many sug-
gestions were made and will be referred back to Bob.
Spirit Sunday – John Miles – This event will take place after
all Masses on August 28th. An email will be sent to all
ministries soon.
Fall Helping Hands – Phil Cote - Date is October 1st.
Parish Picnic – Fran Schroeder – The date will be Sunday,
October 16th. All ministries will be asked to get involved
in helping put on this event.
New Business:
Ministry contact list – Margaret Ward will update this list this
summer so that it will be a current contact list.
Kitchen Clean-Up—Phil Cote - There is a need to set up
clear instructions for each group using the kitchens and
facilities. A committee is being set up to determine what
will be needed from future groups asking to use the fa-
cilities.
Pastor Remarks:
Father Michael greeted the Parish Council and reviewed a
little of his history and his hopes for our parish. There
will be an Installation Mass for Father Michael as new
pastor of our parish with the date to be announced.
Father listed several ideas for our parish which were well
received by the council and we hope to be able to imple-
ment in the coming weeks. Evangelization is a priority in
making new people feel welcome and reaching out to
them. This is also part of Catholics Coming Home to
reach people who have stopped coming to church.
Father Michael has many good ideas to enliven our parish.
We all enjoyed listening to him and his enthusiasm to
help move our parish forward.
Closing Remarks and Prayer
Closing prayer was led by Father Michael and we adjourned
at 8:05pm.
A light dinner was served after the meeting to welcome Fa-
ther Michael.

MAGNIFICAT PRAYER BREAKFAST
The Magnificat Prayer Breakfast for women will be held Saturday.,
April 30th, from 9:30 am-12:30 pm at Killian Hall. The speaker will be
Linda Smith, parishioner at Holy Trinity in Peachtree City and director
of the parish healing and prayer ministry. Reservations are $10 and

Catholic Charities Atlanta will host a conference for Adoptive Families
on May 14, 2011 from 8:00am-2:00pm at the Cathedral of Christ the
King. This conference is for all persons who have “adoption: in their
lives. The conference topic is : “Keeping the Connections in all Adop-
tions”. The registration fee is $20 per person or $35 per couple. For

Invitados a pasar un día de diversión con otros Católicos Arquideocesanos e el parque
Six Flags en Georgia el domingo 1 Mayo, de 2011. Las puertas abriran a las 8:30 am
para comenzar el día con misa a las 9:00 am. El paquete de entrada es de $39.25 por
persona y incluye: estacionamiento, entada al parquet, todo lo que pueda comer buffet
de almuerzo, y un ticket gratis para regresar entre el 27 de mayo y el 4 de Julio.
Ultimo día de notificar la oficina de Formación y Discipulado es viernes 22 de Abril.

El pertenecer a St. Andrew le permite recibir múltiples beneficios como: participar
de clases, talleres, seminarios de crecimiento espiritual como personal y profesional.
De igual manera le da la oportunidad de integrarse y hacer nuevas amistades, de
recibir el numero de inscripción que lo identificara como miembro de St. Andrew
Catholic Church Este numero es el que debe usar en los sobres que encontrara en
las bancas todos los domingos para que deposite su diezmo. Al usar el sobre para el
diezmo cada domingo, usted deja constancia de que cumplió la obligación de oír
misa y que es un miembro activo de la comunidad.
Si llegara a necesitar una carta para la escuela de sus hijos, constancia de que
vive en el condado o para inmigración, solo podemos confirmar esa informa-
ción si usted está inscrito como miembro activo. De igual manera cuando necesi-
te ayuda económica o medica de San Vicente de Paul se le da preferencia si esta
inscrito en St. Andrew.
Por su beneficio tome una hoja de inscripción en el vestíbulo o pase directamente
por la oficina del Ministerio Hispano en horario de trabajo.
EL DIEZMO. Una hora de salario a la semana es lo mínimo que
debes considerar ofrecerle al Señor. Pon tú donación en los sobres
que encontraras en las bancas. Al usarlos con tu numero de registro a
cumples con tu responsabilidad de tesoro y asistencia a la misa.
