Q: Why did Deltek Acquire FedSources / Washington
Management Group?
A: The addition of Washington Management Group (WMG),
and its subsidiaries FedSources and FedSources Consulting
(collectively referred to here as FSI) to Deltek’s INPUT/GovWin
information solutions delivers additional capabilities to our
customers to find, win, and manage Government business.

portfolio? What’s the benefit?
A: This acquisition extends and accelerates Deltek’s
unique portfolio of solutions that power the complete
business lifecycle for government contractors. Our
solutions span government opportunity information and
intelligence, customer relationship management (CRM),
business development and capture management, financial
management, human capital management and project
management. The addition of WMG and FSI bolsters Deltek’s
portfolio of solutions by:

contract research, agency spending analysis, and targeted

security, information technology, and architecture and

Q: Will this acquisition affect any existing Deltek
products and solutions, including INPUT?
A: We anticipate combining the industry-leading INPUT and
FSI opportunity intelligence databases to provide the market’s
deepest and richest opportunity repository -- containing
thousands of contracting opportunities and representing
hundreds of billions of dollars in annual contract market value.
In addition, we will enhance each other’s complementary
research, analysis and capture strategy offerings to deliver

Q: Does this acquisition mean Deltek is focusing
engineering, development and other resources on
government contracting market intelligence and
information versus its historical focus on enterprise
software products?
A: No…this acquisition means that we simply gain more
resources to invest across the board, across all areas of our

our solutions portfolio. We believe it is the depth and breadth,

retained after the acquisition?
A: Yes. We expect all WMG/FSI business partners will be
retained after the acquisition.

for product support?
A: For WMG and FedSources clients, in the short term it is
business as usual. Members should call the same sales and
support contacts they do today for any needs. Deltek expects
to expand and enhance these service and support resources in
order to provide best-in-class customer support. Initially, WMG
and FedSources customers should not notice any change.

Q: What is planned for the integration of WMG and

FedSources into Deltek?
A: Initially, WMG and FedSources will become part of the
Deltek Information Solutions business unit, along with INPUT
and GovWin, as we work on integrating the combined solution
offerings of these unique entities. Specific integration activities
will occur over time and be prioritized and communicated
appropriately.
