player in any relationship. With its 200 MHz
PowerPC CPU and 8 MB memory, it can easily
print 16 pages A4 per minute. Thanks to the
Kyocera Mita printer controllers, the ECOLaser
Printer is of exceptional network quality but

FS-1800
ECOSYS technology is based on extremely durable
components. The drum, developer and fuser of the
FS-1800 are designed for 300,000 pages.
Due to the fact that toner is the only consumable
required, ECOLaser Printers operate with the lowest
costs per page in their class, and they are particulary
environmentally friendly. Thanks to their numerous
system and paper options and modularity all
ECOLaser Printers can develop to meet requirements.
PRESCRIBE IIe
With the Kyocera Mita page design and control language
PRESCRIBE IIe even complex graphics, logos and standard
forms can be created independently of the system and saved
in the printer. Consequently, integration into print files no lon-
ger applies. They are only fetched as required and therefore
relieve the load on the network.
The 80 scalable, high-quality fonts can be selected from all
emulations. It is therefore also possible to integrate old systems
without any problems. A total of 45 integrated bar codes inclu-
ding hash totals are computed automatically by the printer and
printed in the desired size, alignment and position.
API for individual solutions
The Application Programming Interface (API) is a highly efficient
interface for the programming of individual print solutions - e.g.
for the management of standard forms and documents. What
is more, API is 100% compatible with the SAP and UNIX systems
and therefore it allows the integration of popular output manage-
ment systems.
Kyocera PrintMonitor (KPM)
The KPM enables complete monitoring and control of ECOLaser
Printers and digital Kyocera Mita copying machines from every
computer and therefore offers ideal network administration. On
top of this, it supports the standardised protocol SNMP.
The CompactFlash* card offers abundant storage spaces for
typefaces, logos, standard forms and signatures as well as
individual API or PRESCRIBE macros. The optional 340 MB
Microdrive* hard disc offers even more efficient document
management. At the same time it enables the management of
print data with print repeat, test print with release or the storage
of print data which can be fetched at a later date.
Warranty
2 years warranty as standard. Kyocera Mita guarantees the
drum and developer for 3 years or 300,000 pages (whichever
occurs sooner), provided each printer is used and cleaned in
accordanced with the service instructions.

The up to 5 year on-site warranty extension for printer and
options.
