Minutes from March 2011 Meeting

The March meeting commenced at 7:45 PM, with 9 members and 1 guest present. The minutes were accepted by
Jessica, and seconded by Cyndy.

TREASURER’S REPORT: Treasurer was absent. Memberships, money and mailbox notice was collected and will be
forwarded.

COMMUNICATIONS: None.

SPORTS: Waiting for the snow to melt. (By the looks of it outside, we’ll be waiting
awhile)! The Stanley Hotel
Tammy would love for us to pick a show/gymkhana date to volunteer at.
(Most importantly a gate person). Debbie Hay has volunteered for the May 29

"STANLEY BURGER"
SHOW: The June 18 show has been moved to the Agriplex, on their Country Fair
Weekend. The Judge is Garth Helstrom from Manitoba. The Agriplex is allowing Open 7 days a week
us to put up a tent and a food booth. Tammy may need a show secretary for this
show.

PUBLICITY: Jessica has booked the band The Wild Turkeys for May, but will try to move it to either June or later in the fall
(hopefully September). She has called different venues, and Kilroys seemed to be the best venue available because they take care
of liquor and security and there is no rental fee. We are allowed to set up at the door and collect ticket money ourselves.

YOUTH: Nothing to report, still in planning stages.

OLD BUSINESS: None.

NEW BUSINESS: We may not have a kitchen at Murillo this year, still waiting for a reply.

Meat Orders are available!!! We are doing our fundraiser again this year selling our meat packages from Tim’s
Meats. Meat order forms were distributed at the meeting and are available from Frank Jurcik upon request. Orders are
due at the May meeting. Please do not call Tim’s Meats to place orders, they will not be accepted, please contact
Frank.

May 7 Kathy Johnston is having a party for Terry’s 50 Birthday! It starts at 3PM and goes until….whenever!
There will be a bonfire, fireworks, beef on a bun and Carol’s (delicious) Cakes! Please bring your own lawn chair and
reply to Kathy by email @ royalhairdesign@tbaytel.net

Our trail rides dates have been set! They will be Sunday June 5th, and Sunday, September 11th at Rockin’ M
Ranch! We had a blast last year and encourage everyone to join us again this year!
