Please meet in your child’s classroom
prior to driving down to Denver to
meet your group and get instructions!

 Many of you have been asking about
taking siblings to the zoo with us! We
contacted the District Office
regarding the policy for siblings
attending school field trips. It states
that if you plan on attending the field
trip as a chaperone, that you may not
bring siblings along. Therefore, if
your are planning on attending the
field trip to the zoo as a chaperone,
we are asking that you DO NOT bring
other children along. If you have
signed up to chaperone and were
planning on bringing a sibling, please
contact us immediately and we will
figure something out. If you have
any questions regarding this, please
contact us. Thanks so much for
understanding!

our upcoming MUSEUM NIGHT on

demontrate all that they have learned
through our travels with FLAT

Both first grade classes are in need
of some more treasures for our
treasure box!!! Any donations would be
greatly appreciated!!!
KIDTV!!!
 Tune into KIDTV this weekend and
watch some of our AMAZING 1 and st
5th graders share all the learning that
we have been doing around our Global
Focus at Ponderosa! KIDTV will air
this Saturday and Sunday at 8:30am,
3:00pm and 6:00pm. It will continue
to air during the week at 8:30am and
6:00pm ONLY. You can also find the
Ponderosa KIDTV segment on the
District Website!!
Science
Our insects have arrived and we are
definitely enjoying observing the
different stages that they go through to
become adults! Be sure to ask your child
the stages of a butterfly and mealworm
as they go from egg to adult!

We are attending Loveland Public
Works Day at The Loveland
Fairgrounds. This is a FREE field trip
sponsored by the City of Loveland.
This event will allow your child to
experience a fun-filled day and learn
about Public Works and its role in the
community. JOIN US FOR THE FUN!!

This will be our final monthly homework of
the year so let’s have 100% of our class turn
it in so we can all eat in the classroom
together. If you have misplaced your
homework sheet, please send a note letting us
