As per schedule for Tender for allotment of Banquet Hall-cum-Restaurant known

as the Shehnai Banquet Hall, the Pre-bid meeting was held on 21-03-2011 in the
Conference Hall, L&E Dept. and was attended by the following:

Some of the interested/prospective bidders who attended the pre-bid meeting


raised certain queries which were clarified as under:

Q.1: Whether Additions/Alterations are permitted in the precincts of the


premises?

A.1. It was clarified that no additions/alterations/construction are permissible in


the basic structure. However, small repairs and maintenance work is to be
carried out at their own cost by the successful tenderer/bidder. As regards
addition/alteration/construction, it cannot be carried out without the written
permission from Commissioner, MCD.

Q.2: Whether raising structures in open space is permissible?

A.2: No permanent structure of any nature will be allowed to be raised in the


adjoining open spaces of the banquet hall-cum-restaurant.

Q.3: What about arrangement for fire safety and existing provisions thereof?

A.3: Fire safety norms shall be adopted by the tenderer in accordance with the
specifications laid down by Delhi Fire Service. Existing provisions/fixtures may
be inspected at site on the dates specified for inspection.

Q.4: Whether parking space available or not?


A.4. Specified paid parking space is available under and around the
hall/premises. However, successful bidder/tenderer has to make his own
arrangements with the parking contractor/agencies.

Q.5: Whether licenses relating to running of Banquet Hall-cum-Restaurant


required?

A.5: All types of licences will have to be obtained by the successful bidder at his
own cost from the concerned departments including MCD. However, L&E Dept.
of MCD will issue NOCs wherever and whenever required by the successful
bidder, upto the scope and provisions of existing policies.

Q.6: Whether running daily restaurant is permissible?

A.6: Yes, permissible.

Q..7: Inclusion of Service Tax and other levies in Licence Fee:

A.7: All such taxes /duties/fees etc. shall be borne by the successful bidder in
addition to the quoted licence fee.

Q.8: Adjustment and refund of Earnest Money and Security Deposit:

A.8: The Earnest Money of two highest bidders/tenderes will be refunded only
after the finalization of allotment of banquet hall-cum-restaurant and acceptance
by the highest tenderer/bidder. As far as Security Deposit is concerned, the
same shall be kept deposited for six months after the date of expiry of contract.
Draft of EM deposit of other bidders shall be refunded after opening of financial
bids is completed.

Q.9: Status regarding fixtures etc. installed by the successful bidder

A.9: Installations, fixtures, fittings and other articles of temporary nature laid out
by the successful bidder/tenderes can be taken by the allottee after the
successful completion of the tenure or his pre-exit as the case may be.

Q.10: Tenancy/Sub-licence etc.:

A.10: No subletting or sub licensing will be permitted.

A further meeting on 4/3/2010 at 4.00PM is hereby also announced , for


satisfying any further queries which may be forthcoming from the
intending/prospective bidders.
