ON-BOARD TELEMATICS
Introduction 83C
WARNINGS:

This document does not concern the new "Carminat Navigation and Communication" multimedia system
released at the start of 2005 on Laguna 2 phase 2 and Vel Satis phase 2.

Before attempting to find a solution to a fault, check that it is not caused by incorrect use. To do this consult the
"Carminat Informed Navigation" Owner's Manual and the Repair Manual.

AIM OF THE TECHNICAL NOTE

To list the most common faults and the associated After-Sales solutions in order to facilitate repair.

FAULT FINDING LOG

IMPORTANT
Any incident involving a complex system must undergo a thorough fault finding procedure with the appropriate
tools.
The FAULT FINDING LOG, which should be completed during the fault finding procedure, enables you to keep
track of the procedure which is carried out. It is an essential document when consulting the manufacturer.

IT IS THEREFORE COMPULSORY TO FILL OUT A FAULT FINDING LOG EVERY TIME A FAULT FINDING
OPERATION IS PERFORMED.

You are always asked for this sheet:

● for Technical Assistance requests,
● for approval requests when replacing parts for which approval is obligatory,

to be enclosed when returning monitored parts on request.
The sheet is needed for warranty compensation, and enables better analysis of the parts removed.
