60% Pinot Noir; 40% Chardonnay. Schramsberg’s
remarkable string of successes continues with this
vibrant, fruit-filled Rose. While all Californian in its
expression of fresh cherries, it is never candied or
sweet and takes on a real measure of champenized
richness by way of its plentiful yeast. Bright and
alive, yet slightly creamy in texture, it hangs on and
on with both fruit and lots of fine bubbles around at
the end. If delightful to quaff on its own, it will make
an exceptional mate to dishes such as simply grilled
salmon or chicken in cream sauce.

There’s a crystal clarity to the berry and cherry
flavors. Powerful, almost tannic, with plenty of
mineral and spice notes. The long finish kingers with
white peppers and wisps of red peach.
This wine is a blend of Grenache and Rolle. Very
light pink in color, truly vin gris in color. An
aromatic nose with herbaceous plants and flowers.
Strawberries, lavendar, minerals on the palate with
a dry, clean finish. Provence in a bottle - and a text
book expression of rosé. Beautiful, elegant and
seductive.

With floral and crushed red cherry aromas, the wine
shows full-bodied, ripe, mineral-driven fruit on the
palate, with tangy undertones and a note of white
pepper. The wine has a fresh, lip-smacking fruit
character and an easygoing, uncomplicated nature
that makes it pair well with a variety of dishes. The
wine has acidity and tannins that are ripe but firm;
this is no wimpy rosé. This hearty rosé is a winner.

has very good intensity, with a predominance of red

At first it seems closed and drawn, but with time this
serious Rioja unveils toasty raspberry and mineral-

Ridge Estate which was aged for 18 months in French
and American oak. Deep crimson-colored, the nose

herbal component. Full-bodied on the palate, this

to evolve for 2-3 years. Drink it through 2018.

and wet leaves. On the palate, lovely sweet flavors of
sour red cherries, pomegranate, violets and licorice.
