CONTENT STANDARD:
The Math program for 3rd grade has been developed with the goal of providing the students with
activities and experiences that develop mathematical concepts up to 1000. Through the activities,
we promote the sequential development of the mathematical concepts and basic skills: addition
and subtraction of one, two and three digit numbers, multiplication and division with one digit
number, measurement of perimeter, area and volume and estimation. The activities foster
problem solving in the daily routine. The instructional strategies target different learning styles
and the program provides and environment designed to help the students meet the challenges and
needs of math in today’s world.

METHODOLOGY (these are some examples of teaching techniques or strategies, adjust them to your teaching
style and to your student's needs) CHECK OFF THOSE TO BE USE AND ADD OTHERS AS NEEDED.
