Hello Ponderosa Pandas! My name is Circe Boman and I am the Library/Media
Specialist. This is my first year as Librarian and I have really enjoyed my new
environment. The best part about my job, other than being surrounded by some
great books, is being able to get to know ALL the students at Ponderosa. I am
originally from Arizona but have lived in Loveland for the past 11 years. I have
four great kids, three attend Ponderosa and one at Con Ball MS. When I am not
working, I am usually volunteering or cheering for one of my kids’ extracurricular Circe Boman
events, or out for a stress reducing run! It has been a great year of global Librarian

learning. Please feel free to stop in any time and experience the Media Center,
Panda-Style!

On this special night, from 5:30—7:15 p.m., our students will share with you what
they have learned over the course of the year through demonstrations, activities,
and performances through a global lens. You will have the opportunity to engage in
folk dancing, view student art, participate in games, and many more activities. In
addition the Omni Globe will be in the library to demonstrate another way of how we
use technology to engage students in learning. There will also be a choir perform-
ance at 6:45 p.m. The PTA will provide a pizza dinner in the cafeteria beginning at
5:00 until 6:15 pm The cost of the food: pizza $1.00 cash per slice and drinks
(milk, juice, and water) .50¢ cash. Only cash will be accepted.

Ponderosa’s Panda Prowl will be held on Tuesday, May 10th. While raising funds for
our school, students will learn the more important lesson that exercise is an impor-
tant component of a heart-healthy lifestyle. Please help us in making sure that your
child wears the appropriate footwear (no flip-flops) and dresses appropriately for
activity outside (sun, rain) and uses sunscreen.
