1. DIRECTOR
Director is used worldwide to signify the highest executive officer within a governmental,
statutory, NGO, third sector or not-for-profit institution. In a business director is a person who
leads, manages, or supervises an organization, program, or project.

3. TECHNICAL ADVISOR

A technical advisor is an individual who is expert in a particular field of knowledge, hired to


provide detailed more information and advice to people working in that field. For example a
construction company might hire a technical expert in fluid dynamics to advice them if
seeking to move a small water course or a company operating in adventure education will
frequently hire technical experts to ensure that their policies and procedures are robust enough
to handle the hazards they are going to face.

Technical Advisor Task :

• Main responsibility is to take the lead in developing strategies and plans.


• He can develop proposals, assess organizational, technical and training needs & can
develop training materials.
• Develops reviews, adapts, disseminates, and utilizes training curricula, training
materials, and other materials to build the capacity of staff.
• Disseminates best practices at regional and international professional meetings.
• Advise on curriculum development in all areas technical.

4. PROJECT MANAGER

Description
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to
strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating
the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver
projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives
and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Responsibilities
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in
collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes
where necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

6. FIELD ENGINEER

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Assists in supervising field employees assigned to a particular construction discipline work


area, i.e., electrical, piping, erection of structural steel, rebar, duct work, etc. Assist in
evaluation and solution of potential field problems, referring them to Superintendent. Perform
all functions and responsibilities in consonance with the company’s values and beliefs.
1. Provide technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets and
specifications for contractors.

2. Continually find solutions to conflicts in structural/architectural/mechanical/electrical


drawings and specifications by conferring with the Consultants. Coordinate these solutions
with the various sub-trades.

3. Report accurate quantities for labour cost reports, accurately monitor material ledgers to
determine if quantities remaining in the estimate are sufficient to complete the project in the
field.

4. As a member of the Project Site Team, your duties include being able to perform layout
work competently, accurately and efficiently.

5. Coordinate inspections with consultants and authorities as required by the contract.

6. Inspect falsework for conformance to design drawings.

7. Monitor installation of rebar for conformance to structural drawings.

8. Assist Project Superintendent by enforcing quality control, expediting subcontractors.

9. Continually update drawings with changes as issued by Consultants.

10. Review shop drawings for conformance with the contract and ensure information is
communicated to Foreman and Superintendent.

11. Identify contract document conflicts and recommend solutions.

12. Ensure construction work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications
and design instruction.

13. Present oneself as a candidate for promotion by learning and understanding construction
methods and developing good construction management skills.

7. HRD SUPERVISOR

9. HRD MANAGER

functions. He has to shoulder responsibilities such as recruitment, training, development,
employee counseling and performance management. Nowadays the job of a human resource
manager has become a specialized profession and requires highly qualified personnel for the
position.
The human resource manager has to be in constant touch with the employees of the company.
He provides advice to the staff, supervisors and trains them in various aspects. He has to
coordinate the process of recruiting and training. He needs to conduct employee performance
reviews and should also inform the employees about the policies of the company. The need to
keep employees informed in order to facilitate decision making is also one of the prime
functions of the human resource manger.

Responsibilities

explanation of his responsibilities. The responsibilities of a human resource manager are as

resource manager.

towards the organizational goals.

10. WELDING FORMEN

Performs skilled supervisory work in directing the work of subordinate craftsmen involved in
the following: welding; pipe insulation; steam system operation installation; maintenance and
repair; pump maintenance and repair and metal machining.

This individual is responsible for assigning tasks among subordinates and personally
participating in the more difficult tasks. Work assignments are received in the form of
instructions, sometimes accompanied by drawings or broken parts. An employee of this class
has full responsibility for deciding work methods and other technical matters. Prepares cost
estimates and estimates of labor and material. Work is performed under general direction of
an administrative superior and is reviewed during and at the completion of projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Plans, assigns, schedules, and supervises the work of skilled and trades helper subordinates on
pump repairs, machinework, welding, cutting, brazing, steam fitting, and pipe insulation
repair and installation projects.
Supervises the installation, repair, and maintenance of the university steam distribution lines.
Lays out and supervises the cutting and fitting of material in preparation for welding.
Maintains and makes repairs to welding equipment.
Prepares cost estimates of labor and material; orders supplies, material, and equipment.
Prepares routine work and time reports and maintains standard records.
Recruits and trains subordinate personnel; establishes safety and work performance standards.
Performs related work as required.

11. STORE KEEPER

A storekeeper is in charge of the equipment, materials and supplies regularly needed in the
daily operation of a company. He follows directives from one or more department supervisors
on office equipment and supply orders. His job also regularly requires him to prepare and
process packages and parcels for shipment.

Job Duties

• Keeping adequate, organized inventory levels and accurate storeroom records are the
main responsibilities of a storekeeper. Since he is required to maintain stock levels
that meet multiple requirements, he must be organized and detail-oriented to be
effective. A storekeeper is also in charge of packaging and shipping boxes and parcels
and choosing the best couriers and shipment methods. He may also be required to
operate various office machines like computers, postage machines and label makers.
In warehouse environments, forklift operating skills are often required for the job.
