“Put on the whole armour of God” Eph 6:11

Sirach 42:15 “By the word of the Lord His works are made.” (God desires to
shower His choicest blessings upon His people when claiming them through His
words or through His promises.)

1) Psalms 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want anything.

2) Philippians 4:19 And my God will fully supply (satisfy) every need of yours
according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

3) Matthew 6:33 Seek the kingdom of God and its justice; all other things will be
added unto you.
Condition for God’s continued blessings (Romans 14:17, Mark 1:15)

4) John 15:7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever
you wish, and it will be done for you.

5) Psalms 18:50 Great triumph He gives to His king (to His chosen ones who are
faithful to obey His voice) and shows steadfast love to His anointed, to David and
to his descendants for ever.

6) Jeremiah 32:27 See, I am the Lord of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?

7) Psalms 105:15 Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.

8) Jeremiah 23:29 Is not my word like fire, says the Lord, and like a hammer that

13) God’s dwelling place The tabernacle or the monstrance where Jesus is truly
and fully present in is the most Blessed sacrament.
Leviticus 26:11,12 I will place my dwelling in your midst, I shall not abhor
you (not forsake you) and I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you
shall be my people.

14) Leviticus 26:6 I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no
one shall make you afraid.

15) When they had prayed Acts 4:31 When they had prayed the place in which
they were gathered was shaken; and they were all filled with Holy Spirit and
spoke the word of God with boldness.

against the foe (the powers of darkness), for human help in worthless. With God
we shall do valiantly; it is He who will tread down our enemies.

18) Israelites in between the Red sea and the army of Pharaoh (of Egypt ) and
everybody started crying in pain. God said to Moses,
Exodus 14:16 But you will lift your staff, and stretch out your hand over the
sea and divide it, and the Israelites will go into the sea on dry ground. (Reciting
or confessing the above word of God one can pray for mighty deliverance for the
afflicted people)

19) Trusting Almighty God, you can win over the enemy even if the whole world is
against you.
2 Maccabees 8:18 For they trust to arms, and acts of daring, he said, “but we
trust in the Almighty God, who is able with a single nod to strike down those who
are coming against us, and even, if necessary, the whole world.”

20) Psalms 145:13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. The Lord is faithful
in all His Words, and gracious in all His deeds.

21) Luke 28:27 What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.

22) God’s Love is so great and wonderful 1 John 3:1 See, what love the Father
has given us, that we should be called children of God.

23) God desires not only our spiritual welfare but also welfare in all other areas of
life.

24) Great victory when there is a group for continuous prayer support
Exodus 17:10,11 So Joshua did as Moses told him and fought with Amalek,
while Moses, Aaron and Hur went up to the top of the hill. Whenever Moses held
up his hand, Israel prevailed; and whenever he lowered his hand Amalek
prevailed.

25) Take every action only after consulting (listening to the voice of) the Holy
Spirit. Then God will help you in accomplishing what you decided.
Job 22:28 You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you, and
the light will shine on your ways.

26) Zechariah 3:17 The Lord your God is in your midst, a warrior who gives
victory.
27) Purpose of prayer Jesus said “Ask ... you shall receive the Holy Spirit.”
Luke 11:9-10,13 “So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given you; search, and
you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks
receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the
door will be opened. If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to
your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to
those who ask Him!”

28) Strength from above Acts 1: 4-8 Not before many days, you will be baptized
with Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be strengthened
from above; you shall be my witnesses starting from Jerusalem to the ends of the
earth. (Jerusalem – the place of suffering, where many of the prophets where
killed; Jesus Himself was crucified in Jerusalem) Praising God in sufferings and
waiting upon God for His mighty interventions, you will be filled with Holy
Spirit.

29) Suffering when organizing a retreat or Bible convention or a spiritual program


or when you try to raise your family or career, in the right christian way
Hebrew 13:12 Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to sanctify the people by
His own blood.

30) Continuous praising for every suffering until you are with Holy Spirit and with
revelations of the word of God: Sacrifice of praise to God
Hebrew 13: 15 through Him (Jesus), then let us continually offer a sacrifice of
praise to God, that is the fruit of lips that confess His name. (Thank you Jesus,
Praise you Jesus for all afflictions and sufferings)

31) Learn from your leaders who spoke the word of God to you
Hebrew 13:7 Remember your leaders, those who spoke the word of God to you;
consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

32) Choosing suffering instead of pleasures Moses “choosing rather to share


illtreatment with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin”.
Salvation and Healing in the name of Jesus

33) Acts 16:31 Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you and your family will be saved.

34) Luke 24:47 Repentance and forgiveness of sins is to be preached in His name to
all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

35) Acts 22:16 … and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of
the Lord

36) Acts 10:43 through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive forgiveness
of sins.”

37) Acts 2: 38 Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

38) Acts 4:10 Let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that this
man is standing before you in good health by the name of Jesus Christ of
Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead.

39) Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, (other than the name of Jesus) for
there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be
saved.

The supremacy of Christ

42) Hebrews 1:3 He is the reflection of God’s glory and the exact imprint of God’s
very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word.

43) Colossians 1:19 For in Him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.

44) Exodus 3:14 Jesus is “The great I AM, who spoke to Moses in the burning bush,
in the Mount Sinai.” ( See John 8:24)

45) John 8:24 You will die in you sins unless you believe that I am He.( As revealed
in Ex. 3:14)

46) John 8:12 I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in
darkness but will have the light of life.
47) Revelation 1:17-19 The risen Lord reveals Himself “..I am the first and the last,

How Jesus Saved Us ?

55) Isaiah 53: 11-12 The righteous one, my servant, shall make many righteous, and
he shall bear their iniquities. 12Therefore I will allot him a portion with the great,
and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out himself
to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.

56) 1John 2:2 He is the sacrificial offering for our sins, not only for our sins but for
the sins of the whole world.

57) 1Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in His body on the cross so that, free from
sins, we might live for righteousness; by His wounds we have been healed.
What does Jesus do for us?

1. Jesus sends a new Pentecost upon everyone who believes

58) Acts 2:2 And suddenly from Heaven, there came the rush of a mighty wind and it
filled the entire house where they were sitting ………….. All were filled with the
Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages as the spirit gave them ability.

59) Joel 2:28-29 Then afterwards I will pour out my spirit on all flesh; your sons and
daughters shall prophesy and your old men shall dream, and your young men shall
see visions. Even on the male and female servants, in those days I will pour out
my spirit.

2. Making us a new creation (a new person) by faith in Jesus

60) Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart I will give you, and a new Spirit I will put within you;
and I will remove from your body the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

61) 2Corinthians 5:17 He who is in Christ Jesus is a new creation, the old is gone,
the new has come.

3. Baptism in the Holy Spirit

62) Matthew 3:11 He will baptize you with Holy Spirit and fire. (Transformation
and empowerment by the Holy Spirit)

4. Victory over satan

63) Colossians 1:13 He rescued us from the powers of darkness and transferred us to
the kingdom of His beloved Son (i.e. to the life in Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23).
Explanation – He transferred us from death to life, from hatred to compassionate
love, from sadness and despair to hope and joy in the Holy Spirit, from darkness to
light and from disease to health in mind, body and soul.

5. Forgiveness of sin and healing.

64) Psalm 103:3 He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.

65) Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.

6. Jesus is our reconciliation with God.

66) Colossians 1:20….. and through Him God was pleased to reconcile to Himself.
All things whether on earth or in heaven, by making peace with the blood of His
cross.
7. Intercession before the Father.

67) Hebrews 7:25 He (Jesus) always lives to make intercession for them to save
those who approach God through Him.

68) Psalm 101:1 The Lord (God the Father) said to my Lord (=The Risen Lord) sit at
my right hand (intercession) until I put your enemies under your feet.

69) Romans 8:34 (The Risen Lord, interceding for us before the Father, sending the
Holy Spirit upon us.)
