11 Oct. 1999 Design, build and installation of a steam separator greatly reducin
g the amount of steam escaping into the equipment room. The escaping steam had a
lready attacked the surrounding concrete. This project greatly reduced maintenan
ce costs and concrete repairs.
Work Experience
February 2008 to Present TSS J/V IWTP Supervisor (Logistics Engineer)
Assumed all duties as IWTP Supervisor after contract transition to TSS J/V.
Assist with training Liquid Fuels personnel in purchasing materials through the
current system.
Developed a practical system of tracking materials purchased for various shops.
Assist other shops as needed (Boiler Plant Maintenance, Boiler Plant Operations,
Liquid Fuels etc.)
December 2004 to February 2008 CSP IWTP Supervisor (Logistics Engineer)
Direct operations, inspections and maintenance of IWTP, drinking water system, O
WS’s, septic systems, water wells, chlorination/fluoridation stations, grease
traps, swimming pools, flood gates, sanitary and industrial waste lift
stations.
Worked closely with Government QAE to enhance working relations.
Combined the IWTP Operations and Maintenance shops enhancing overall productivit
y.
Water Production wells put on line allowing Tinker AFB to not rely on purchased
water from Oklahoma City since 2005.
Wrote SOP’s for industrial water and waste process operations and maintenance.
Developed and implemented the PQS program for IWTP Operations.
Implemented the RCM program for IWTP to enhance overall equipment reliability.
Participated in the WWG scheduled meetings to enhance water and waste practices
and procedures and maintain all EM, BIO and ODEQ requirements.
Developed a practical operational program for the ASH unit.
Share duties of the On Call Spill Coordinator for the entire base.
Schedule and coordinate utility outages as they pertain to water and waste facil
ities and equipment.
Assist with setting budget constraints and operating within these same guideline
s.
Generated multiple projects to enhance the water and waste system on Tinker AFB.
Oversee operations and treatment of water and waste practices so as to meet requ
irements of base permits as well as safe drinking acts as amended.
Participate in the RCM committee.
September 2001 to December 2004 Deputy Supervisor Plant Maintenance
Assist with directing “Plant Maintenance†branch which performs maintenance on 6 boiler/
chiller plants, all 25 hp. and larger air compressors, all breathing air compres
sors, all steam mains, chill water and compressed air lines and all steam/conden
sate lines and pumping stations.
Write SOP’s for operations and maintenance of industrial equipment.
Assisted with setting budget constraints, monitor unit safety program, IAP monit
or/Supervisor.
Implemented ODC reporting procedure for Plant Maintenance.
Implemented internal ISO program for Plant Maintenance and audited other agencie
s.
Monitored government inventory items to include all vehicles, lifts, cranes, LMR
equipment, tools and furniture.
Set EOY priorities so as to enhance the overall boiler/chiller plants and their
associated equipment, built CSL’s, acquired quotes, built req. forms and purchased i
tems through the normal government programs.
Ensure all training meets or exceeds government standards and requirements.
Participate in the RCM committee.
May 2000 to September 2001 Boiler Plant Supervisor
Supervisor for all boiler and chiller plants and associated equipment as outline
d by the government throughout the transition period.
Trained new boiler operators in proper operation of boilers, electric chillers a
nd steam chillers up to and including 2000 ton chillers.
Set up a training program to meet government mandated training standards.
Set up operator work schedule for all plants for 24 hour operation.
Insure all chemical levels are maintained as outlined by the government to meet
desired parameters.
Assure that all operational maintenance is completed and documented.
Assist with setting up scheduled plant outages for needed maintenance to equipme
nt and processes.
Assisted with writing process SOP’s as they pertain to each plant.
Assist with setting up the RCM program still in use.
