Certified Pharmacy Technician, experienced in all aspects of hospital and retail
pharmacy, as allowed by law. Knowledgeable of Joint Commission Rules and Regula
tions, and all other health regulatory agencies. Ability to be accurate, to mult
itask, work under time limits, and strong mathematical skills.

Ten combined years experience as a Pharmacy Technician in hospital and retail ph
armacy.

es the ability to understand technical and pharmaceutical terminology.

Advanced interpersonal skills to interact with patients, their families, staff,
and customers in a courteous manner; and to maintain positive working relationsh
ips.
Ability to work independently, accurately, and finish assigned projects within t
he allotted time frame.
Knowledgeable and skilled in aseptic technique and physical dexterity to manipul
ate vial, ampules, needles, syringes, and other intravenous products. Extensive
experience in preparing chemotherapy intravenous admixtures.
Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, RNA-Helix, Affinity, PDX, and Meds Manager.

Pharmacy Technician
Open Pharmacy by: generating reports for processing patient discharges and admit
s, pyxis refill, outdating, and discrepancies, and all other necessary reports.
Stock, refill, and responsible for security of crash carts and floor stock.
Fill, outdate, resolve discrepancies, replace failed drawers, add, and delete me
dications from pyxis.
Print cartfill batch, fill cassettes, and deliver to appropriate medcart along w
ith patient intravenous admixtures.
Responsible for keeping patient charts up-to-date, including charging and credit
ing medication, and storage of files as required by law.
Documenting of narcotics from receiving, to outdating and wasting. Including, se
curely retrieving, filling, documenting, and returning narcotics used in surgery
department.
Experienced in several ordering methods, electronically, from multiple venders i
ncluding, but not limited to Amerisoure and McKesson. Checking in, stocking, and
rotating of medications and supplies.
Use several methods to repack medication, including: proper chemotherapy medicat
ion repacking, protect from light repacking, monthly individual packaging of lon
g-term care patients medications, and individual packaging (Euclid Packer).
Compounding of medications after Pharmacist reviews drugs, calculations, and mea
surements.
Prepare intravenous admixtures including chemotherapy by calculating quantities,
retrieving all items and drugs needed, then using aseptic technique according t
o policies and procedures.
